### 4/5 — Not over-stimulating for kids 👌

*2025-08-16*

I appreciate the simplicity of this app. Other kids’ learning apps can be too much like games and it’s overstimulating. This is exactly what we ask of it; it’s sight word flash cards. No flashing colors, no characters, no surprises - I like it that way. It’s great! It even has pleasant background music. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is the robotic voice that says the word. The kid can press a button to hear the word they are looking at, but it’s a computer voice and it doesn’t really sound like actual English so it’s confusing to them. Can you get a human being to record saying the words instead, please?

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! 🙏 I’m really glad you and your kid are finding the app helpful. As a father of two boys, I originally built this app to support their reading journey, and then decided to share it with other parents.

You’re absolutely right about the voice, I’ve been working on adding clear, recorded voices, and this improvement will be available in the next update very soon. I hope it makes the learning experience even better!

Cheers, Kirill

### 5/5 — Great app!

*2025-11-01*

This app has been super helpful for my child to learn sight words. I just wish there was a way to make our own list of words to go along with what my child is working on in class instead of just bouncing between the preset lists to find the ones we are working on.

**Developer response:** Thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to hear that the app is truly helping your child, this is exactly why I built it.
And thank you for the great suggestion. Creating custom word lists is an excellent idea, and I’ll do my best to include this feature in an upcoming update.
Appreciate your support!

Cheers, Kirill
