## What is Sightly?

Sightly helps parents organize child eye health follow-up records in one clear, private place.

Use Sightly to record each eye exam date, clinic, cycloplegia status, right-eye and left-eye measurements, height, report photos, and original prescription notes. Over time, Sightly helps you review axial length and refraction trends, summarize 6/12-month axial length changes, and keep context around interventions such as defocus lenses, ortho-k lenses, atropine, outdoor time, and follow-up plans.

Current app data is stored locally on your device by default. Sightly does not upload your local records to the cloud unless you choose to export, share, or restore a backup.

Improved OCR accuracy for combined eye exam reports and final refraction values, with a smoother multi-report import experience.

### 1.2 — 2026-07-15

Sightly 1.2 makes exam records and trend review more reliable. Partial exams can contain only visual acuity, refraction, or axial length, and cycloplegia can be recorded as Yes, No, or Unknown. Multi-report OCR now applies the latest recognized date by default while keeping date and conflicting-field choices available. Trend charts label every data point, emphasize the selected point, and avoid connecting missing values. This update also improves iPad backup restore, local notification reminders, data migration, and offline reliability.

Sightly 1.1 improves axial-length follow-up review with clearer recent trend summaries exam-age context previous-record comparisons and an axial velocity chart.
