App is totally useless. We (attempted to) used it in Palermo and the map is so imprecise you can’t accurately locate a bus stop. The “moving” app stop locations also don’t match the route map, so even less helpful in knowing what general vicinity you should be looking in for the stop. The guide you to a stop location doesn’t work and the estimated arrival time for a bus appears inaccurate, though it’s hard to say for certain without knowing where the stops are. We had already purchased the hop on hop off bus tickets before downloading the app and reading the reviews which unfortunately match our experience. I’d recommend not downloading the app as it’s a waste of time. I only hope we can find a stop this afternoon so we can make use of our tickets! ### 1/5 — Fails at basic functionality *2023-05-11* One would expect the app to at least help you get to the nearest hop-on/hop-off point, or at least tell you when the next bus is. Letztendlich hat sich die App bei der Buchung aufgehängt und alles musste von vorne eingegeben werden. Ich werde nie wieder den Hop on Hop Off Bus benutzen. Volle Busse und lange Wartezeiten. WLAN an Board funktioniert nie. Absolute Abzocke ### 1/5 — Broken *2024-09-03* Don’t waste your time using this - it’s fundamentally broken: it is slow to load, is unresponsive and has menu pop-ups that choose not to appear on screen half of the time and, if you actually do manage to get to the checkout screen, doesn’t actually let you purchase the tickets you painstakingly tried to configure. Ridiculous that the app exists in this state. Use their website via browser instead. (Although having said that, Apple Pay doesn’t work on their browser either.) It was very helpful in knowing where the bus routes were (or boats, for Venice), and what we might see as we rode. The buses were safe, clean, and easy to spot going down the road. A great way to get around! Our only"gripe" is that we wish the lower level of the bus had AC, or even some fans, for those hot, summer days in Rome. Even still, we would definitely ride with them again. Highly recommend the app, and the business. ### 3/5 — Unresponsive *2019-04-01* Sorry but finding this app difficult to use, I have to press the screen several times to get it to work, once I get to the map, it takes a while to load. I am testing out this app here in the UK before I travel to Florence in May.
