### 3/5 — It’s ok....

*2019-05-18, version 2.3*

The game is good for teaching but it says the word and I trying to get my kid to read so saying doesn’t help on the other hand the game is pretty good the words aren’t the hard but they do get harder after a while.

### 3/5 — Sight cards

*2018-11-20, version 2.3*

I like the app but advertisements keep popping up and I would have to return to the sight words

### 2/5 — Ad’s pop up without touching

*2018-07-19, version 2.3*

Ad’s pop up without touching the screen. It’s frustrating. From what I understand they still don’t go away completely because they exist at the bottom of the screen.

### 1/5 — Update your font!

*2017-09-26, version 2.3*

Really? You've got kids leaning to read and the font type for the letter "g" is ridiculous. Causes more confusion than helping. Keep it simple for flashcards. Including the font you select for your app. Ads are annoying.

### 3/5 — Inappropriate ads

*2017-09-08, version 2.3*

This app was nothing amazing but good enough for practicing sight words for free. However I had to delete it due to Victoria's Secret ads that kept popping up, First it was only one every once in a while then became more frequent to where it popped up 3 times during our ten minute practice session!

### 1/5 — Letters' s font

*2017-03-06, version 2.2*

In what world do you think these ridiculous fonts are used?? Some of these letters are in fonts that are unrecognizable.

What a waste. So stupid.

### 4/5 — Good app

*2017-01-26, version 2.2*

Good and effective.

### 3/5 — Bare Minimum

*2016-08-30, version 2.2*

This app is functional, of course, but very very dull. It does exactly what it's supposed to do--shows and reads sight words-- and that's it. There are no games incorporated, not even any cute graphics to grab a young kid's attention. The point of using an electronic device like an iPad to help with a child's reading is to peek their interest; to provide a more fun way of reading than the worksheets they see all day. So if you have an older student and all you want to do is drill this app is perfect, but if you have young ones like I do, I wouldn't recommend this app.

### 1/5 — Missing words

*2016-04-27, version 2.1*

This app stinks. It constantly asks for words that are not on the screen.

### 1/5 — Bugs in Question Mode

*2016-04-26, version 2.1*

Sometimes it asks for words that are not even there. It's very confusing for my little one trying to use Question Mode.

Also, I'd like to be able to see a list of the Sight Words in each category.

### 1/5 — Question Mode

*2016-04-24, version 2.1*

Unfortunately when the game is on question mode the words that they are saying do not match any of the selections. It happened three times in a row. Please fix this.

### 3/5 — Fix bugs in question mode

*2016-04-19, version 2.1*

My daughter came to me saying it said click on then and the word was not there and she was so confused. It then happened 3 more times(not in a row). Since then I won't use question mode but still great app for learning during my commute.

### 4/5 — Great

*2016-04-13, version 2.1*

Really like this app.

### 2/5 — App has problems

*2016-04-05, version 2.0*

App has technical problems. Tried to contact support and was only sent to a page with all of their products. When you are in question mode, the bottom right card never changes and displays an incorrect word. It happens every time, so it is not suitable to use with students.
The flash card portion alone is good.

### 2/5 — Sound not working

*2015-06-01, version 1.2*

No sound. Can't play the question game

### 3/5 — Sound not working 😔

*2015-05-04, version 1.2*

Sounds not working. Really like the app otherwise

### 1/5 — Immediate ads get in the way

*2015-03-24, version 1.2*

Pop up ads get in the way of the learning experience. Deleted.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Ads

*2022-01-31, version 2.3*

Ads are something else with this app. Obviously a common theme here.

### 1/5 — Didn’t load past the title screen

*2020-08-24, version 2.3*

Just kept showing title screen

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2020-03-14, version 2.3*

The app immediately got stuck on the loading screen and goes no farther.

### 1/5 — Didn’t work

*2020-03-06, version 2.3*

I downloaded this for my son. The main logo kept bouncing on the screen over and over. Nothing else happened.

### 1/5 — Broken

*2020-03-04, version 2.3*

I couldn’t even use the app that I downloaded. “eFlash Apps” kept playing on a loop.

### 1/5 — App biffed on its second use

*2019-11-28, version 2.3*

Tried to open the app for the second time since my recent down load and all it will do is play that annoying into over and over without going to the main menu. Not cool.

### 1/5 — Didn’t work at all

*2019-11-21, version 2.3*

Wouldn’t even move past the home screen. Just kept playing the little “eflashapps!” Intro over and over. Deleted.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2019-11-19, version 2.3*

The app doesn’t work. Can’t get past the very first screen

### 1/5 — Ads ads ads ads ads

*2018-07-30, version 2.3*

I get it, it's a free app but there is already ads on the bottom of the screen but constantly in the middle of trying to teach..... video after I video of the same ad. Don't bother

### 1/5 — Horrible with Ads

*2017-10-13, version 2.3*

NOT child friendly. Ads kept popping up in the middle of her using the flash cards, she would hit the next button and 2 ads would play back to back before an X popped up so we could exit back to the flash cards. Also, the next button is at the bottom where there's another ad banner and it's really easy for the kids to hit that ad banner when they are trying to hit the next button. Really poorly set up and just no child friendly at all which is a shame because the actual flash cards and vocal sounds are great.

### 5/5 — Great App

*2017-06-09, version 2.3*

Great work

### 5/5 — Exactly what I needed.

*2017-01-29, version 2.2*

My 5yo wants to practice her sight words, and this was perfect. I didn't love the aesthetic, but I also liked that it isn't so flashy that she gets distracted.

### 5/5 — Form Mom!!

*2016-11-28, version 2.2*

After using this app, my girl improve in Redding. Questions mode helping my child to recognize the word. It's really useful!

### 5/5 — Loving it

*2014-02-09, version 1.2*

Love the voice and the slides. My 19-month old enjoys listening to the words. Now she can read all the words thanks to you. Just a couple of suggestions:
1. An auto play option instead of the touch/slide
2. More high frequency words would help further learning.

### 5/5 — Love love love!!

*2014-02-03, version 1.2*

This is the perfect app for learning sight words!!!

### 5/5 — Fantastic!

*2013-06-13, version 1.2*

*2013-03-14, version 1.2*

Eflash aps is awesome! I was thrilled to learn this was your program. My 1 yr old uses English Baby Cards and loves it! My 1st grade students who are below, use this one. I love how the child can choose between words. Repetition is key! Thank you. You guys make teaching much easier. :)

### 5/5 — Love an App that does what it says it will. . .

*2013-02-13, version 1.2*

Love an App that does what it says it will and doesn't ask for your money!

### 5/5 — Excellent

*2012-10-15, version 1.2*

I was glad to pay for the full app to remove ads. Great words and design.

### 5/5 — Luv this app

*2012-07-30*

My daughter is one and she has all words down pat. The sound I'd just fine if I want to repeat I just touch the word at the top. This has helped me to jot words on my own index cards for her. I think a Nook is next for her!!
