## What is SIGIL?

Write a sentence and send it as a glowing circle. Anyone who has SIGIL can open that image and read your exact words back on their own phone, with no account and no server in between.

An open glyph is not private. Anyone with SIGIL can read it. Post that kind in a group chat when you want someone to ask what it is. For the other kind you make a circle. You hand its key to one person or to a group, once, in a way you already trust, and from then on the glyphs you write in that circle open only for the people holding that key. To everyone else the image is a mark and nothing more.

HOW IT WORKS

Type up to 145 characters. Every keystroke redraws the whole circle, because changing one letter changes every byte underneath it. Save the image, or share it like a photo, through any messenger you already use. The person on the other end imports it into SIGIL and reads it there.

A WRITING SYSTEM

Most ciphers hand you a wall of characters nobody wants in their chat. SIGIL draws a repertoire of signs on a fixed ring, in cold light on black, around a hallmark identical in every SIGIL glyph ever made. It survives a screenshot and a trip through a chat app, which is where most of them will live.

MADE ON YOUR IPHONE

A renderer we wrote draws every glyph, on your device. Your phone generates circle keys and keeps them in the iOS Keychain, and we never see one. The cryptography is Apple's own CryptoKit. The app ships no third-party framework and no stock artwork. Turn on Airplane Mode and use the whole thing, please check.

WHAT SIGIL IS NOT

SIGIL is not an occult or manifestation tool. It is not a messenger or a social network. It has no inbox, no contacts and no transport of its own, and sending a glyph means handing an image to an app you already have. It is not a secure-messaging product. What you write in a circle is only as protected as the people you gave the key to, so do not use SIGIL for anything whose exposure would harm you.

The app is the only decoder. No web reader, no paste-in page, no API. Someone who wants to read a glyph installs SIGIL. That is deliberate.

FREE AND PREMIUM

Free is complete in kind: full render quality at both tiers, real circles, real sharing, and reading open glyphs with no limit. The first circle you make is unlimited too, to write in and to read. Past that, making a glyph, or reading one in a second circle, counts against 13 a day. You keep two inks and your last 20 glyphs. Key backup and export are free at every tier, always: losing a phone must not cost you every circle you are in.

SIGIL Premium lifts the daily limit and adds unlimited searchable history, 3000 px lossless export, and share cards without the wordmark.

SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

SIGIL Premium offers three ways to unlock:
- SIGIL Monthly, $3.99/month. Auto-renewing subscription, no free trial.
- SIGIL Annual, $24.99/year. Auto-renewing subscription, 7-day free trial for new subscribers only.
- SIGIL Lifetime, $49.99. One-time non-consumable purchase, no subscription, family-shareable.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew at the same price unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew at any time in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited if you purchase a subscription.
