## What is Sigilo?

Sigilo is a privacy-first two-factor authentication (2FA) app. It generates the time-based and counter-based one-time codes (TOTP & HOTP) you need to sign in securely — and it’s built around one simple idea: your data belongs to you.

LOCAL-FIRST BY DEFAULT
The codes you add live on your device. If you never turn on cloud Sync, nothing ever leaves your iPhone.

OPTIONAL CLOUD SYNC
Want your codes on more than one device, or a safety net when you switch phones? Turn on Sync and Sigilo backs up your vault so you can restore it whenever you need. Sign in with Apple, Google, or GitHub. Sync is fully optional and always under your control — it only runs when you ask it to.
