For some reason it is hit and miss with the app, my phone and the device, waste 1 hour to get them to connect. Why can’t they just make their device work with its own screen.

Got it today and app is very basic. It would help to have more coins in the database. It would also help to let user enter their own entries with human friendly names  for coins and bars. Sigma mini has lots of potential and please don’t limit it due to app limitations

First off, this app works as it’s supposed to and serves its intended purpose. However I feel it is lacking, and could use some sprucing up and these are my recommendations;

- clean up the menu appearance, and take away the extremely basic look. This is a pricey machine and it would be nice for the app to have a more appealing look. Makes me feel like a brand new programmer type design with their first video game. Not knocking here, just feedback.
- when you select menu options it doesn’t close the menu and I wish it would so it gives me a positive response that my selection was accepted. Wether inputting an item weight or selecting a metal type etc. 
- on IOS while running the app, it does not keep the screen awake and I feel it should. 
- there should be a menu to help identify the type of gold you have. Krugerrand, Dos Pesos, Francs... and so on. 
- a neat feature would be the option to screen record, while using the app and record on the camera as well. To show proof of test result and item being tested for internet sales.

Works great! As other reviews noted; turn off VPN and Private Relay if the app is not communicating with your Sigma. If it can log into the Sigma's Wi-Fi but not get the green light on the app, that is most likely your problem.

It works well. Unfortunately it took me a while to realize I had to turn off my vpn for it to work.
