Please make it so that i can have more than one reminder on something!! As someone with ADHD i got this app to help me keep track of my assignments and one reminder is not gonna cut it. But after r some software update one my Mac a dipped when looking at calendar view I aim not see the months name or the arrows to move to the next one. That’s all it needs to be for me, and it delivers perfectly. I do utilize the assignment trackers for things that aren’t already tracked in my college’s Canvas, like newspaper production dates or theatre rehearsals, but I find my work moves too fast otherwise to get much use out of that feature. ### 5/5 — Amazing app for college! *2024-08-29, version 3.3.9* I am a current freshman in college and this app is saving my life. First of all, there's NO SUBSCRIPTIONS OR ADS. its all 100 percent free and honestly, i would love to support the developer in any way i can because this app is a godsend. In terms of features, you can create semester based calendars with the ability to skip days for vacations. You can create subjects with instructor info and room info (which has saved me from getting lost on campus). The timetable is a clean way of viewing your classes for the day and helps you get a sense of how much time you have between classes to get work done. Not only that, but you can add tasks to each subject. I'd recommend putting your entire syllabus into the planner to visualize how much time you have AND get a head start on assignments. There's so much customization when it comes to tasks, like tests and quizzes and homework, and they can send you reminders when you want. I love how its both on my phone and on my macbook. I feel so on top of work and college doesn't feel too overwhelmingly stressful because of Sigma Planner. I always used to hand write everything into a planner/calendar, or use an excel spreadsheet but dates and assignments always changed and it made it too messy. I love that I could sync this between all of my devices so I could always check in on what needed to be done! My friends were always curious about how I had my assignments so organized and always relied on me to remind them of homework because I always knew when things were due! My only problem is that when trying to edit due dates on the app for MacBook, the app would continually crash so any edits needed to be made on a different device. Until recently, the app experiences a crash everytime you try to switch months in the calendar while setting a due date. The crash only happens on Mac (no problems on iOS). J'utilise toujours cette application pour la gestion de mes cours à l'école, indiquer les dates des travaux à remettre, les examens et j'aime aussi le fait qu'on peu mettre la couleur qu'on veut pour chaque cours, il suffit de mettre le code de couleur (hex). Malheureusement, depuis 2-3 semaine, j'éprouve de la difficulté avec l'application. Il y a des bugs, quand je veux utiliser l'application et faire une tâche comme mettre un examen à mon horaire, ben Sigma Planner plante. C'est dommage parce que j'aime cette outil et c'est le seul application qui comble mes besoins. I can manage so many tasks and assignments now, and it's pretty customizable. I haven't had the need to put in any classes yet, but I will need to in the future. This is a great app to track anything related to school in, or even for stuff outside of school. Simple when I need it to be, but it also has hidden and helpful features. For example, when duplicating an assignment, it automatically changes the assignment number (ex: "Topic 1" changes to "Topic 2"). Love this app, it's totally free but I like it enough that I would be willing to spend a few bucks on it. ### 5/5 — perfect for what i need! *2024-01-19, version 3.3.9* this app is my favorite for scheduling due dates for assignments and tests. i would like to see a feature where we can spread out assignments to multiple days for when i want to work on problem sets gradually or study for something each day ect. i just duplicate assignments usually but it would be nice to have a study time option instead of only due dates of assignments. overall a fantastic app that I use every day and i love the minimalist design that helps me focus on what needs to be done for the day. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Lots of major issues *2023-08-28, version 3.3.9* I cannot speak about the iOS app as I haven't tried it, but the MacOS version is horrible. Classes are sorted by the time they start, trying to input times are a struggle, and there are many things that just lack polish. It makes no sense to me how this app was featured on the app store. ### 1/5 — Awful. Update erased data. *2020-08-11, version 3.0* The practical, well organised layout, friendly UI, and functionality were perfectly fine before the latest August update. Post update installation it has DELETED all my data. No warning prior to installing. No option to retrieve data. All my hard work and archives/information have been lost for good. Instantly uninstalled this ridiculous, untrustworthy app. User beware. ### 2/5 — Weekly Calendar Bug *2021-01-26, version 3.3.2* This app was great for the first day that I used it. Second day, all courses that I had set up previously no longer show up on my weekly calendar and I can’t figure out what is wrong. If this was fixed, the app would be absolutely perfect. ### 3/5 — Great but cant synch with Apple Calendar *2025-04-02, version 3.3.9* As the title says, it’s a great app for organizing my classes but I wish I could synch up my Apple Calendar events into the Sigma calander to view my other events/plans in the same planner as my classes. It would be as good as IStudiezPro if it did this! (Sadly Istudiezpro no longer is being updated). ### 3/5 — Not bad, but there are some things I wish it would change *2024-07-25, version 3.3.9* Generally a really good app, I've been using it ever since getting into university and it helped me keep track of my class schedules and daily tasks/assignments! However, there are a few other things i think it could improve. 1. For whatever reason, on MacBook it doesn't allow me to click arrows to move back and forth between the months. Because there are no arrows, I have to click on the days of the next month displayed on the grid to see the next month. Problem is, August 2024 has 31 days and the display grid doesn't go beyond that. So i actually literally cannot click into September and see the calendar for it. I can still create due dates for months after Auguest 2024 because the smaller pop-up window has arrows to move between the months, but the larger view one doesn't. This is a terrible thing, honestly, it makes the app very unusable. 2. when scheduling class times for a course, it doesn't allow me to schedule different times for different days. For example if I have a class from 1-2 on Mon, Wed and 2-3 on Fri, I'd have to create a separate time slot for the friday class as I cannot choose times separately for each day. ### 3/5 — Calendar when setting dates not visible. *2024-06-22, version 3.3.9* Pretty much what it says. I’ve restarted my phone and deleted the app and redownloaded but it still won’t work. I’ve been using this app and found it quite useful however, some UX adds could be prioritized in the next update. I often have trouble keeping track of my assignments because I refuse to use a physical planner and things like Google Calendar or other planner apps just don’t cut it for me. I am currently a Sophomore in college and this app is working numbers. I don’t know if it’s the layout, organization, or just the easy user interface (yes I know I sound like a bot right now but seriously), this app is amazing. MY ONLY PROBLEM is that if you start adding tasks or classes, it might look like your schedule disappears for some time. Sometimes it comes back if I leave the app and come back and sometimes… it just doesn’t until a later time.
