About

SignalMetric is a focused audio analyzer for musicians, engineers, creators, and anyone who wants to understand a live, imported, or recorded signal. MEASURE THE SIGNAL Read RMS and sample peak in dBFS, 4x True Peak estimate in dBTP, Peak Hold, headroom, crest factor, Momentary, Short-Term, and gated Integrated LUFS, Loudness Range, PSR, PLR, estimated SNR, noise floor, DC offset, zero-crossing rate, and clipping events. FOUR INSTRUMENTS Monitor combines the essential readings. Spectrum shows a 2048-point FFT across 64 logarithmic bands and separates the six strongest components into frequency-labeled sinusoids. Timeline keeps a bounded 30-second spectral history. Scope presents a triggered 256-bin time-domain envelope. WORK WITH REAL SOURCES Start with a permission-free reference signal. Analyze the microphone without creating a file, open audio from Files or another app, or make an explicit local M4A recording with a visible Record state. HONEST MEASUREMENT SignalMetric reports digital full-scale and BS.1770-style mono-analysis values. True Peak remains visibly marked as an estimate. The app does not claim calibrated SPL or certified delivery compliance, and uncertain tempo or pitch context is withheld or labeled approximate. PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION Live Mic is analyzed in memory. Recording starts only after you explicitly tap Record. Imported and recorded files stay local unless you share them. SignalMetric does not upload audio, track, show ads, require an account, or include analytics. Optional feedback is sent only after you submit its form. ONE FAIR PRICE Buy once. No subscription and no feature paywall.
