## What is Signature Academy?

Signature Academy is the training app for fundraisers who talk to people on the street and at the door.

Instead of long training videos, you practice the thing that actually decides a conversation: your own words. A few minutes a day, step by step through the conversation, spoken out loud rather than read in silence.

How it works

• Your conversation is split into short steps, from the opening line to the close.
• You say your lines out loud. The app listens and shows you straight away what landed and what is still missing.
• First with the text in front of you, then with gaps, finally free. Each step unlocks the next.
• Anything you have already learned comes back for review later, so it still holds two weeks from now.
• Your progress is visible per step and per week, for you and for your coach.

Who it is for

Academy is part of Signature, the platform for face-to-face fundraising. The app is for people working at the organizations and agencies that use Signature. Your login comes from your team, there is no sign-up inside the app.

Recordings and privacy

Recordings are used only to score your practice. What is stored, and for how long, is set out in our privacy policy.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.2.4 — 2026-10-21

Cloze gaps no longer give away punctuation. The result page opens without a loading spinner, and the gold line past the goal flows on seamlessly. Minor bug fixes.

### 1.2.3 — 2026-10-19

What's New in Version 1.2.3

- Team overview
Every learner now shows one clear progress percentage and the time they have trained. 100% means ready to go.

- Training polish
Empty tips are no longer shown.

### 1.2.2 — 2026-10-16

What's New in Version 1.2.2

- Team Learning
The leaderboard is here. See where you stand compared to your team, and get a
notification when you jump to the top, get overtaken, or move up
in the rankings. The first time you launch the app, it will ask for permission to send notifications.

- Your wording matters
Drills now display the exact wording you actually said, rather than the
rigid script text. Both in the exercise and in the summary, you’ll see exactly which line
was evaluated.

- Better speech recognition for everyone
If a recording on your device doesn’t work, it now automatically checks a second,
more accurate recognition in the cloud. Successful attempts are recognized immediately, without
any wait time.

### 1.2.1 — 2026-10-15

Improved
- New intro: the fox shows you how the challenge works in three short steps

### 1.2.0 — 2026-10-13

New
- One percentage shows your learning progress per guide
- Dress rehearsal: once every section is at 100 %, speak the whole guide without text and earn another 20 %
- The round goal appears before each round as a ring around the fox

Improved
- A round counts as passed from 80 %, one mistake is always allowed
