Then, stopped interfacing with Dropbox. Fine, I figured out a work around, although not particularly convenient. Now, it won't even launch. Deleting. The latest look if the interface really misses the spot too. Really badly designed. Updates are almost never coming and bugs take ages to get fixed. For a paid app, i was expecting a lot more... Well it doesn't save changes, it says it has then either crashes or the screen goes blank. You can't move files about if you want to put them in different folders all in all I'm looking for another product because this is just useless!!!!!! ### 4/5 — Great Idea *2012-01-23* This apps works well for me. The only problem for me was that after I upload a document to the app, it takes about a minute to open the doc up, which is annoying when I'm sitting in front of a client. ### 1/5 — No longer works at all. Don't buy. *2012-01-21* Further Edit - latest update crashes into a reboot with a weird red and white screen as opposed to a black screen. I suppose that could be considered as improvement. EDIT - used to be good. Now crashes iPad into a reboot eveytime I try to open it. I previously rated this as four stars. Now it is negative 5 as it simply doesn't work anymore. I now use softsign. Shame as it was quite good. ****** This app now performs well. I have used it to sign numerous documents, contracts etc and it is now an app that adds a lot of value to my iPad as a business tool and as a genuine laptop replacement when traveling light. I originally rated it low due to crashing and not saving the signed PDF. Still crashes sometimes but on the whole a very useful app. Further updates should keep improving it. ### 2/5 — Pay per signature *2012-01-14* Why do I need to purchase a signature? I missed that one word, and now regret purchasing it. I'm getting married soon, and it seems pointless to use it now and have to purchase my new one. Also, I can't use more than 20. Really? Sticking to the dead tree edition. It's effectually cheaper. ### 1/5 — Major problems *2012-01-04* I can sign a PDF but the signature disappears when I try to save the document - this entirely defeats the purpose of this app. Most frustrating. ### 4/5 — Getting Better *2011-08-11* The latest version is great 4 the fact that u now have landscape as an option & can email doc from main page. Has lost instructions & when doc 1st opens sometimes it comes up as a negative I.e. Reverse colours. My main bug bear is u don't know where the program is going to drop things on the page & sometimes it can be right up the top or even off the page. This is especially painful when using the checkbox option. Otherwise great App & can only get better ### 4/5 — Great concept, update needed *2011-08-09* This is a great app but there is one MAJOR flaw and a couple additions this could use. The thing crashes a lot so that needs fixed. Crashing in the middle of a document means starting all over. Maybe an autosave feature would be handy because of this. Would also be nice to rename docs versus having to save them "as" then deleting the original. Outside of those couple things this is great!! I have purchased all the add-ons and use this non-stop in my daily real estate business. I hope future improvements will come. What I would love to see is something I can store as a "template" then just be able to use my Bluetooth keyboard and the tab button to jump to field versus typing in something, having it randomly appear somewhere and then moving it where the desired location is. I have purchased the iPhone version in addition to the iPad version and they are both locked and useless. I have reset, uninstalled reinstalled to no avail. I have 'lost' many documents. Second, it takes 15-25 secs for a doc to open. Third, signed and annotated docs are not attached to emails when sent. Unreliable app. Really not thrill about loosing completed and signed docs due to the app not responding after it was opened. Recently there was an update which brought in a bug when linking with Dropbox, we brought this to the developers attention, as it was affecting our business, and they rapidly fixed the problem. The app is now super slick and linking between the two and I can't praise the customer service enough. ### 5/5 — Quick and Easy *2012-08-07* I don't understand why this app has so many bad reviews.... I use it daily for my business for signing contracts. I find that there is no need to save individual signatures (plus for security reasons clients prefer that the app doesn't save the signature). Paying for extra signature spaces is only needed if you intend on reusing the signature. For a one time signature, I find that after you add a signature to the document it is easy to maneuver it to the exact location and scale it up or down to size. Also as a side note if you have someone with a "fat finger" choose the thick setting when signing. Adding text to the document is easy too. Then save the PDF directly to your Dropbox and share with whom ever you choose. Easy as 1-2-3. ### 5/5 — Sign my pad *2012-03-22* I watched the video on you tube this was exactly what I was looking for to get my contracts signed on- site. Downloaded a tested worked perfect allowing me to enter new text fields and dates onto the original PDF, then sign off. Created a folder to save work then I can email myself and the customer simultaneously. Full marks from me Thanks again.... ### 5/5 — Paperless forms signed *2011-05-27* This App is fantastic for any businesses who need client signatures. This is the best app I have tried and we will now use it regularly. It is: * great for the environment (no more printing forms to get signed) * saves time (no need to fax, scan or print anything) * I can email the signed document to all parties (no need to photocopy) * it works with emails, dropbox or online website PDFs * once changes are saved (i.e. signatures etc added) they are secure as a new PDF * the signatures are as good quality as signing real paper (excellent quality) * all this for less than a price of a coffee, I'm very impressed after much searching. I would encourage other businesses to go paperless and buy this app. I'm not sure what is the difference between this app and the "SignMyPad Pro" is. ### 5/5 — Simple and Intuitive *2011-04-10* I bought this to evaluate for my girlfriend who is a realtor and she ended up buying it and loves it. The application doesn't have a lot of options and that's partly why I bought it. Unlike competing products, there is no need for long drawn out wizards nor is there a need to zoom in/move the document to try to get the appropriate positioning & scale. The big box at the bottom makes it easy for people that aren't familiar with the app to sign and be done. Saving to drop box or file system is as easy as mailing the document to recipients. 5 thumbs up! ;-) Note: It would be nice to have a free trial version to evaluate before buying. Some people probably don't want to take a chance on a product that they can't try first. ### 5/5 — Superb app *2010-12-03* This is an extremely useful app, which basically adds a layer text / signature onto a PDF and allows you to re-save. Perhaps future updates may include either folders to store PDFs within app and maybe a copy/paste option.
