## What is Signtone?

Signtone is the fastest way to check in to events. No QR codes. No NFC tags. No typing names into forms. Open the app, tap Listen, and the event is identified.

HOW IT WORKS
Event organizers play a short audio signal — a Signtone — through their PA system or speakers. When you tap the Listen button in the app, Signtone identifies the audio signal (similar to how music-recognition apps identify songs) and registers you for the event with one tap.

Works with conference PA systems, laptop speakers, Bluetooth speakers, and even broadcast radio.

ATTENDEES
- Tap Listen to identify the event you're attending
- Register with one tap — your profile is shared instantly
- Choose between a public or a professional (LinkedIn) profile
- Access event resources, links, and handouts right on your phone
- View your registration history anytime

EVENT ORGANIZERS
- Create events and generate Signtone audio from the dashboard
- Upload banners and resource links for attendees
- Track registrations in real time
- Export attendee lists as CSV
- Run sweepstakes and prize draws
- Works for conferences, meetups, trade shows, and retail events

TWO AUDIO MODES
Universal: High-frequency signal (16.5-17.5 kHz) — works without disrupting conferences
Broadcast: Audible signal (1.2-3.8 kHz) — works over radio, PA systems, and noisy environments

PRIVACY FIRST
- Audio is processed solely to identify event signals
- Audio is not recorded, stored, or used for any other purpose
