I built a home gym and initially tried to DIY my own programming and self-coach. I am so glad I switched. I don’t have to spend any time planning workouts or tweaking programs, I just open the app, do the lifts, ask coach Daire any questions I have, and repeat. The app itself is clean, simple, and there’s no ads to interrupt anything. Every exercise in the program has a instructional video on how to complete the exercise. Becoming a Horse program Gives you an opportunity to get loads of reps in at manageable weight before stacking on the intensity. Great programs if you currently move well as an intermediate athlete. If you are a beginner I would recommend getting an in person coach to teach you the movement standards first. ### 5/5 — Same great programs, made more accessible *2024-11-07* I’ve had great results running two rounds of Sika Strength RTA prior to the app’s release so it was a no brainer to give it a shot. Having the programming accessible on the phone in app form made it much more convenient to log workouts, make adjustments based on performance, and access my training log while in the gym. You can even run two programs simultaneously if you’re so inclined. I ran the 12-week weightlifting program to prep for a local meet and was thrilled that I was able to hit all-time PRs in the snatch, clean and jerk, and total.
