### 1/5 — This game sucks.

*2025-12-20, version 1.3.0*

Replication of something great from about 20 years ago. Doesn’t carry old features over, eg. changing temperature stratas. Instruments frequently show completely different orientations from map. Nice to get run over by a destroyer 6 nautical miles away. Screw this. Lazy.

### 5/5 — Great and Simple

*2025-09-01, version 1.3.0*

This is a great game, casual and relaxingly entertaining. The game reminds me the old PC game of The Silent Service II which is also my favourite one. Finally I have found this and I love it. Just reminding me when I played it during my Junior High School. Thank you!

### 1/5 — Black screen

*2025-02-24*

One day in and game crashes with black screen waste of money ☹️

### 4/5 — Silent Depth sub sim

*2025-02-13*

Love playing this with my earphones on a packed train. Driving a train on the Underground’ is kinda the same?

### 4/5 — Issues

*2024-12-23, version 1.3.0*

I tried “App Support” but no Contact Us there. So… I get these generic “Ships” that move at “0 knots” when I’m pretty sure they are supposed to be warships. I get them where there should be an escort mostly. Or when a cruiser and destroyer might be traveling together. But the worst is when they show up in a battle group. There will be a carrier and a battleship and “Ships” that do nothing. So the carrier/battleship are just sitting ducks. Hope you can help. Otherwise, a fun game.

### 5/5 — Love the game on my iPad

*2024-12-05, version 1.3.0*

Game is tons of fun
Some ideas
Needs a pause button in menu
Every once in a while there are still ships that are going zero knots and can’t be sunk and you can’t escape the game
No way to see the deck gun remaining ammo in the information screen
Please keep on updating the app !

### 2/5 — Not worth it

*2024-05-09, version 1.3.0*

I want to like this game.
Starting out, driving the sub out of harbor, so exciting. But the excitement quickly ends.
You sail towards your patrol area, and will suddenly encounter a small target. Not only in the middle of nowhere, but technically in US waters. What is this freighter doing way out here?
When you do encounter a ship, suddenly they are barely 2nm away if not closer. The game takes away the entire skill and thrill of stalking a convoy.
And the graphics! The “map” view, has glyphs for your sub and other contacts, looking wildly out of place for a WWII simulator. It should look like grease pencil markings, instead it looks like a modern naval simulator on top of a cheap reproduction of a map.
The worst part of the map view, is it doesn’t show the torpedo tracks! So while it shows accurate glyphs of each ship, you have no idea where your torpedoes are.
Then the worst part, which should be a celebration, is when you sink a ship. *Nothing happens*. You check the map, the red glyph is just gone! XO not gonna confirm the tonnage sunk?! He confirmed every single rudder change saying “rudder amidship” but when you finally sink something he’s weirdly silent? The single moment you are playing the game for, and there’s zero recognition or celebration.
And it gets worse!
If you are stupid enough to keep playing it, you literally run out of targets. It’s as if there’s a fixed number of ships in its universe, and after 4 or 5 patrols, they are just all gone. I’ve driven patrols around Japan without a single contact.
And *over* Japan.
You can just directly sail over Japan. Why worry about where there is land? Just sail right across!
And I can keep going. The “toolbar” at top is weirdly complicated. Separate buttons for periscope view and top of sail view. Should just be a single button. And a pointless 3D view button - looks great, but doesn’t make sense, how is this 3D view even possible? I have to carefully set every throttle and rudder and depth setting, but somehow I can freely fly around the ship with a 3D view?
To fix, it’s really not much:
- map view should look more like an actual map, with grease pencil markings for ships and torpedo tracks
- scratch the 3D view
- only a single “binocular” view button in toolbar, which goes to periscope if up, or sail view if surfaced
- ship systems button is pointless, certainly not needed at top toolbar
- binocular and deck gun view are wildly difficult to keep on target. Need an ability to keep locked on
- engage targets at more like 8nm, let me enjoy the hunt
- why no missions to pick up airmen or other special missions?
Overall would be great to feel more like a Captain, and just direct things, rather than having to press every button correctly.
And why are there never any aerial threats/targets?

The overall engine is close, I’d be endless thrilled with something only a little bit better.
But this isn’t it.

### 4/5 — Medals and Game Saves

*2024-05-07, version 1.3.0*

It took me a while to figure this out….but this is a game where you MUST NOT DIE, or you lose everything and literally start from scratch.
So if you’re even close to being killed…,close the app and start your saved game again. People claim that getting medals is impossible. Not true…but you won’t get them if you keep getting killed.

### 5/5 — Simple but Great Submarine Simulation

*2024-03-21*

Simple but addictive,I spend hours relaxing just roaming the seas, and a great experience when I come upon cargo shipping traffic and engage stealthily before the Destroyers find my presence, and have a go at them too if I’m still surviving.
Great Game.

### 2/5 — Game play

*2024-02-13, version 1.3.0*

Bad equipment false data but over all the game is ok
