## What is Silent In Salah?

Silent in Salah automatically silences your phone during prayer times at your mosque.

The app fetches live prayer and iqama times from mawaqit.net, so your phone knows exactly when salah begins. Combined with a simple Apple Shortcuts automation, your phone switches to Do Not Disturb when you arrive at the mosque during prayer time — and turns it off when you leave.

### 1.10.2 — 2026-09-05

When automatic silencing does not behave the way you expect, support can now ask you to switch on a diagnostic log. It records what actually happened on your phone — when the shortcut ran, what it decided and why, and how your mosque, permissions and silence windows are set — so the cause can be read rather than guessed at. Logging stays off until you turn it on, nothing is collected before that, and nothing leaves your phone unless you choose to share it.

Feedback you send from Settings now goes to a dedicated support address instead of a general inbox, so messages are seen and answered sooner. Nothing else has changed in this version.

Arriving at the mosque before the adhan now silences your phone. The silence window opens 15 minutes before each prayer time by default, instead of exactly at the call to prayer, so the automation catches you as you walk in rather than leaving your phone loud in the row. You can still set the window per prayer under Settings → Prayer Silence Window, and if you had already adjusted it yourself, your own setting is kept.

Mosque Visits now also shows a score trend: your last 30 days at a glance, with a dot on every day a visit was recorded and a dashed line marking your next level.

Silent in Salah is now available in Albanian, including the Albanian prayer names — Sabahu, Dreka, Ikindia, Akshami and Jacia. Choose Shqip under Settings → Language, or let the app follow your phone's language. That brings the app to nine languages.

Fixed a bug where the prayer-window time sliders moved in the wrong direction when the app was set to Arabic. The sliders now respond correctly in every language
