## What is Silent?

Anyone who snores at night is usually exhausted and not well rested the next morning. But not only that, the (spouse) partner is also prevented from sleeping because of the noise. 

Most of the time you will be confronted with the words: "I have to fall asleep before you, otherwise you will start snoring and I won't be able to sleep." 

Snoring can thus become a real test of patience and there are even said to be cases where partners are no longer (able to) sleep in the same room.

Although the number of men who snore is higher, there are also many women who snore. Therefore, this problem affects all genders.

There are several possible remedies on the market. But not all of them deliver what they promise, are expensive or very unwieldy.

This Anti-Snore-App is an anti-snoring solution that works through a completely "natural" concept. 

In the past, did your partner, with a (gentle) nudge, make you change your sleeping position to stop snoring?

This practice is a common method between many couples in bed to stop the other from snoring. 

This approach often serves its purpose. However, it is usually the case that both are awake at night and then have to fall asleep again. 

Our Anti-Snore-App automatically fulfills exactly this purpose without anyone having to wake up for it.  

After a short orientation period, our Silent Night app promises you: 

- restful and regenerative sleep for everyone involved
- reduced disturbance of the partner's rest
- improved oxygen intake due to the shifting of the body

Our app uses state-of-the-art algorithms from the field of machine learning. We use it to evaluate your current sleeping sounds and provide you with unconscious assistance through vibrations. 

Of course, your data remains completely recorded on the device and will be deleted immediately after evaluation. This means that not only your restful sleep but also the protection of your data is in the forefront.

Likewise, all processes operate directly on the device, data and radio connections can be independently deactivated by you (recommended!) overnight.

For $4 US, I expect an app to do more than just record sounds. You can’t even listen to the recordings the next morning, or go back in time to hear or see data from previous nights to compare. 
As for the hepatics, which I no longer see in the description, and is the reason I was willing to pay for this app, I’ve only felt them twice in the whole time using this app, and if my memory serves, my snore score seems to be going up. 

….and if the battery on your watch isn’t fully charged when you go to bed it won’t record the whole night, which will deflate your score, so I don’t actually know for sure if my score has gone up or if my battery just wasn’t charged enough on previous nights to give me an accurate score. 

Very disappointed with this app. If I could give it negative stars I would.

I downloaded this App onto my Apple Watch because my husband kept complaining that my snoring was waking him throughout the night. I set the notifications to vibrate my wrist each time I snored. It worked great the first few nights, albeit I was exhausted during the day from not getting enough REM sleep, but it was worth sacrifice to keep my husband from complaining! It was on night 4 or 5 that I realized the App was causing an alert each time it heard my husband’s snoring AND my dog’s snoring!! I only realized this because I was still awake when the repeated vibrations occurred and I finally figured out what was happening. This Ah-Ha moment me assume that I was likely not snoring EACH TIME it alerted/woke me on the previous night, and the 89 vibrations/alerts 😱 from the second night I used it suddenly made a lot more sense! Even after adjusting the sensitivity, I eventually stopping using it because I really needed to get a good night of sleep! I still think it’s a great App (extremely user friendly - which I liked!) but probably best suited for someone who’s partner/dog doesn’t snore, or for someone who sleeps alone. Hopefully the developer will find a way to remedy this annoying issue so I can try it again in the future!

Tried it one night; can’t verified if it worked or not since the app did not give any feedback. Turned ON from the iWatch, but can’t seem to work if you use the sleep schedule app (manually or auto).

It definitely works but the haptic is a little too strong and keeps waking me up instead of just nudging me to keep from snoring. Definitely need some improvement.
