Seriously you can wither turn off the tone that happens every time you charge your device or you can’t! Thank goodness for this app! *2017-02-16* My wireless charger no longer causes the phone to beep all night! I can't turn off the mute button, because I need to be able to use my phone as an alarm. Because Apple didn't include silencing charging beeps with the DND feature, my phone was previously occasionally beeping all night whenever my phone was switching between charging the backup battery and the phone itself. This app is a godsend. Pro Tip: If you don't tap the Stop and Save button in the morning, no recording is saved. You can just exit the app without tapping that button. ### 4/5 — Won’t silence your phone but will let u record yourself - awesome *2017-10-23* I installed the app (while the phone is loudly chiming - the problem at the heart of it all) I am then given two options: to upgrade and avoid in-app ads, and to record myself and start a recording “journal.” Loud chiming to this day. ### 3/5 — Works but needs improvements *2016-09-19, version 1.1* I tried the application. All it does it use the fact that when you start a recording using the microphone, the iPhone will not play a sound or vibrate when you plug power. So you start the app, it will automatically start a recording, plug the phone, then you have to stop the recording. It saves the recording so you have remember to eventually delete the recordings by going into the Journal. This gave me the idea of to try to use the built in Voice Memos recorder and you can accomplish the same thing with it. Start Voice Memos, make sure that the speaker icon on top right is white (not blue) start a new recording really discreet sound will be heard), pause the recording, plug your phone in, it will not play any sound nor vibrate. You can then stop the recording completely (again small discreet sound will be heard) and exit. Suggestion for improvement: - have a configuration parameter to allow turning off saving or the recording - have a configuration parameter to allow automatically stop recording after 2 minutes in case you forget the stop the recording - as you can see from my explanation on using Voice Memos, you could go in pause mode right after starting the recording and the sound when we plug power would still be off --- *Data collected daily from the US App Store and indexed by [AppsHunter](https://appshunter.io/).
