Don’t know if anyone mentioned that, but deserves a better review because the ease of use is much better now. Thx. Previous: 2 ⭐️ rating Gets slow after a few prompts. There’s also no way to copy text. Which means having to screenshot or manually type letter to word is a lot. I used another app that lets you hold and copy informative responses. But today, I asked it to explain a process to me in detail, which it did and then Silo asked about my experience level in programming and then walked me through the variety of areas I’d been experience. After a couple of further questions, Silo ended the conversation (based on context, I assume). This was an important step - so many AI apps aren’t taught when to stop. The developer previously held a promotion on the Apple app offering lifetime free membership, but after users downloaded and obtained the Plus membership, they quickly reached their usage limit after just a few questions and were prompted to purchase the Pro version. I signed up for the Lifetime Free (Plus) offer, but when I log in on desktop, the subscription does not carry over. I have also experienced several ongoing issues while using the app itself. Anytime I try to have a chat all I get is "Not Available in your current tier" ### 1/5 — Free lifetime good for 6 uses, now asks for upgrade & money. *2026-01-27, version 0.12.0* I got the free lifetime promotion which had a value of $499. Now I am on the plus tier and after 6 free uses, it asks for an upgrade and more money. This has been going on for a week now, so I know I never reached a daily limit. Not even the 3X they promise. No way to contact the developer about this issue. The developer seems to have pulled a bait and switch tactic. Free lifetime doesn’t mean anything. ## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated) ### 5/5 — Very helpful, works well with voiceover, responsive developer *2026-07-08, version 0.14.2* I picked up this app when it was free providing a promotional Silo plus subscription level. That gives a daily use limit that is adequate for maybe half an hour to an hour use of the app. I am blind and use the voiceover screen reader on an iPhone. There was no way for me to access a copy feature for any particular text answer that was generated. I brought this up to the developer and it was fixed within a day or so. I have since made another general suggestion to help blind users, and he will implement that as well.
