## What is SilvAlert?

Silvalert is a website and a phone app that aims at collecting information about damages observed in forest. Each user having an account can report on a damage observed onsite by taking a picture geolocalised and sending it to the system.

Based on the type of report sent, the appropriate forest authorities of a given administrative region will received the report and validate its content. All this information collected on time will be used to assess evolution of forest damages and initiate appropriate response in case of major issues. This tool has been developed by the PLURIFOR consortium. Only damages observed in South-West Europe and the United Kingdom can currently be reported.

Minor change in warnings module: This version provides a feature to show more information about updated reports.

### 1.7 — 2023-03-13

During the report creation process, the application automatically measures if the report location is within the available areas. Previously this check was performed on the SilvAlert remote server. Currently, iOS application performs this check. This allows the application to run with better performance.
