It blocks my view from the battle. Plz make it so the terrain will disappear when in the way of the camera. They had me fooled for sure. It quickly devolved into straight up gooner bait with new characters wearing practically no clothes at all. So little, in fact, that they bring it up multiple times in their stories. It’s one thing to rely on that for income, whatever. It’s wild to undermine all the hard work put into the art, the story, the music, and the voice acting to just be a smut game in the end. That’s not a dealbreaker as I know I just don’t respond to that stuff like others do; foaming at the mouth and vehemently charging their credit cards. The leveling system is kneecapped by needing to pull multiple copies of characters. the modes are tedious and uninspired. The resources are time-gated and scarce. The god-awful mini games that would bring shame upon a designers resume. I could go on but this game is fun for a bit like I said. Enjoy the story, the bodacious art, but don’t bother getting invested. Not because you are new to the game, but you have missed characters and events that won’t be back for a year or never. You will not realize it until you have played a few days. If you started at launch you will have a different experience. If you didn’t then you will feel left out the more you play. Not worth it for new players. Day one players probably really enjoy the game if you like the vampire theme and/or the battle design. This may be enough for some players. Game play is nice. Sound/music really dives into the vampire theme. Art style is unique for a gatcha. So used to anime style. The game modes and leveling will be familiar if you played NIKKE Goddess of Victory like: 160 wall, Outpost and everything in the Ark. But their ‘Pilgram’ banners (highest quality characters) called Ancestors have a 25% chance of dropping IF you get an SSR. So that’s a 2-4% chance for an SSR, *THEN* a 25% chance it will be an Ancestor…. OUCH! So expect to always hit hard pity at 120 pulls - FOR ONE COPY! But that won’t matter for the characters you have missed. You will not get them anytime soon or ever depending if they come back. But their limited skins probably won’t, just like other gatchas. And their skins don’t show in ultimate animations, which is disappointing. If you are going to play a Gatcha, start at day one so you can experience the WHOLE game. They prey on FOMO. Know the drop rates. It’s good so far. It’s balanced, no hero feels too unusable and vice verse. Each unit has their own pros and cons which makes every character worth using to an extent. It’s extremely F2P friendly. As one myself who has not spent a dime on the game has pulled 2 of the newer featured units twice, one of them from the last duo and the other from the newest one. I have gotten the other new unit for free. The other one I decided not to try and pull because of reasons I shall not specify.
