It coincided with Silver Diner rolling out a new Diner rewards program. No matter what my husband and I tried doing, the app doesn’t work. Disappointed. And the entire migration to the new rewards program was clumsy and unnecessarily difficult to change over to. ### 3/5 — Be aware when using this app they add an automatic tip to pickup orders *2026-03-28, version 25.12.2025090101* As stated above they add an automatic tip to pickup orders. Not carhop or curbside, but pick up orders where you get out of your car and go into the store to get your order. Tip culture has gotten ridiculous, yes you can remove the tip, but I wouldn’t recommend that because that’s what I did and either out of spite, or because of lack of competence they didn’t include all the ingredients of my meal. I made sure to check that they included the utensils I asked for and the maple syrup I paid extra for, I didn’t think at a diner know for it’s food quality, I’d have to check the meal itself to ensure they included the sausage gravy, it mentioned and pictured containing. I checked the app for a resolution and it said contact the store. I’m already 13 miles and 28 minutes away from the store and not going back. The trouble is, there is no place on the app to enter an address. I’ve looked under every menu and sub menu, I’ve even looked online. It isn’t possible. I tried changing my default restaurant but the save button is disabled. Was downloading very slowly, initially showed it would take 20 min, I've been waiting & now it shows it will take another 38 minutes to download. I have a great wifi connection & a new iPad so the problem must be w/the app. Not waiting an additional 40 minutes (that's what it shows now) for an app to download. I would shut down the app open it back up and try again and still the same thing. By the time I’m about to contact my credit card company to rescind or cancel the order a charge goes through and the restaurant receives the order more than an hour later! Waste of time.. When I arrived home, missing beans, sour cream and avocado which I paid extra for avocado. The omelet was overcooked, brown. I always patron, this location. As they use a third party service for delivery (as almost all do), they can’t assist without calling the customer care line. Also, you must be sure to click “add to order” and verify that it adds. We order often from multiple places but I find this app to not be user friendly. It default to pickup and if you pay- you must call customer service to ask for a cancellation/refund. This is not an indictment on the store or the quality of product- this is simply stating that this app is horrible and the UX is underwhelming and problematic. ### 1/5 — Never get an order right *2024-11-03, version 24.10.2024072501* This restaurant is a complete hit or miss. The food can be good, but the service is terrible. Just placed an order on November 3 for three items. They left one of the three items completely out of the order and replaced a gluten-free bun with gluten-free bread without even contacting us to let know. I don’t know if it’s the management who can’t speak very good English or the workers who obviously don’t know how to read orders but avoid this store at all cost every time we think they’ve changed and try them again. They’re just as bad if not worse. ### 1/5 — Cold and saggy fries *2024-11-02, version 24.10.2024072501* I ordered online and got there within the 15minutes they said in App, the waiter said it wasn’t ready but would let me know as soon as my order came out. After 15 -20 more minutes I asked and sure enough it had been sitting there for at least 20 minutes, I should have requested a refund or for my order to be remade but didn’t want to wait another 20 minutes. My fries are cold, the turkey on my sandwich is also cold and the pita bread is saggy.
