I have so many pictures of our family at SDC, and millions of memories that include our daughters, our grandchildren, our great granddaughter, my parents and my grandmother. This year we were disappointed that the tree had limited songs and animation in the main plaza we were told due to the huge living tree that was brought in and they wanted people to go see this. The stage show & tree in another area did not make up for limiting the songs & animation in the main plaza. Please play the main tree with lights & songs continually after the parade goes through until closing time! Little toddlers have rides and adventures and Grandparents have shows and music halls and even train rides to enjoy with the grandkids! So much more than an amusement park! Places for a picnic or restaurants if you prefer- One of a kind for sure! (Nursing station for Moms) Wheel chair rentals available! Switching between input fields wipes everything you typed, which tells me there’s no onFocus/onBlur state persistent state. I tried the scan card feature, which worked, but then I hit “Add Payment Method” and it opened the card scan again and cleared the fields… There is either flawed, broken, or missing state management which doesn’t live high enough to persist between state changes. This should not have made it past QA in this state and this shows even more that there is no integration testing or a very large gap in coverage. I was just talking to a lady in the food line who was having the same frustrations. ### 1/5 — One Star *2025-11-25, version 3.1.26* The app glitched the entire time. The map would send you on wild goose chases. Ride times were completely inaccurate. No one could do a mobile order because the app was crashing. When I went to Guest Services, I was assured the money would be refunded after the park closed for the day. It’s now been over 48 hours, and I still haven’t seen the refund. This experience has been extremely frustrating. The app is convenient for ordering, but issues like this make it unreliable and stressful. If the park can’t ensure accurate charges and timely refunds, I cannot recommend using the app for payments. I hope the developers address this issue and improve the app’s payment system. Until then, use cash or a card at the park to avoid potential headaches. ### 1/5 — Doesn’t work. As a kid my grandparents and parents would take me to enjoy the park. I followed that trend and took my children and now am taking my grandchildren. As I’ve gotten older. I actually enjoy the park more for the PORCH PICKERS. The theme of this park and the smell I remember as a child of the newly sealed asphalt upon the walk in and the Marvel cave. I have enjoyed myself everytime I’ve went. I love the staff, the rides, the food, and just the whole package that they offer. I’ve been to a few different sixflags and SDC is on par if not better than those. And above all I absolutely love Time Traveler. I have rode that ride so many times and even if there is a hour long wait in line, it’s worth it. Everytime you ride it you get a different experience as if it’s a completely different ride.
