I wish I could login to continue to follow some great people I’ve followed forever, please help, thanks Dennis, Frank Valdez ### 2/5 — Largely Useless *2024-06-17, version 1.3* I’ve been on SD on and off for 20 years and there’s been no improvements in all that time. No updates to keep it current. (Seems like some of the same profiles I’ve seen since first finding it are still there long after they went dormant.) I was hopeful the app would drive change, but it’s just a reflection of the same crappy website. GIGO, I guess. You’re better off with GROWLr. If the same time there is a mystery element to Silver daddies. It’s fun to send a message and with some luck shortly you are with a stranger who often becomes a fwb with regular sex. It functions as if it has simply been ported from a poorly coded website from the 90’s. The limitations imposed serve no beneficial purpose, and do not encourage regular use of the app. Users are only allowed a couple of messages per day, and messages in the inbox can’t be deleted. I could go on and on but it’s really not worth it. ### 3/5 — Upgrade *2022-12-09, version 1.3* It’s been 2 years and an upgrade will be nice to more capabilities more speed with the newer iPhones, etc. thx ### 4/5 — Great companion to the online site *2022-09-24, version 1.3* SD is a minimal site with many nice features and this app mirrors the site very well. I can send a message in here and it shows up immediately on the site which means it’s synced nicely. Guys complain about lack of filters; you can filter via the search screen, by location, distance, online status, age range and more. It is only for messaging; would be nice to access their profile. But MY biggest failing is that I don’t visit the site every day and wind up not seeing messages til days later. This app will help with that. Thanks Dennis, please do consider adding profile access to this app. ### 1/5 — Unsafe….stay away *2022-08-14, version 1.3* This is a very unsafe site. I had one user threaten me when I asked him, very politely, to not send me messages. The site administration refused to do anything. There is no way I could stop him from accessing my profile or block his access to my photos. The site uses very primitive programming and pictures are only available in low resolution. There is nothing positive that I can say about this app. ### 1/5 — This is the year 2022 *2022-01-29, version 1.3* Wow this is the year 2022 and the site AND app are so behind with technology. I just downloaded the app and created an account yesterday and in a day or two I’ll be deleting my account. Yes it has something to do with the outdated site AND app but mostly because the email limitations are ridiculous. I’m on a handful of other apps and they don’t restrict email messaging. I was told I was trying to take members away from Silverdaddies even though I told them that gay bowling was not an online thing, it is in the real world. Rather than letting me remove the offensive part of my profile, I was locked out so I could not correct it. All of a sudden the chat rooms won’t load on my IPhone.
