Took me 30 mins to even reset my password. It took away the option to order food on the app without the use of QR codes. Half the time the stickers are missing anyways. You can’t consistently check your points without it being some kind of hassle. Checkout is a nightmare as it rarely remembers your information. And it hides the option to adjust the tip which just seems sneaky. Really bad user experience. ### 1/5 — Bug update 6.12.1 *2026-06-10, version 6.12.1* Nice Ui update but bugs still persisting. Movie Ticket doesn’t populate in app until the start time for chosen film. The ticket should populate in app for viewing the day of your purchased movie ticket showing. I assume the ticket doesn’t show up until movie time to prevent ordering food etc for movie until the movie start time however you should just lock the food ordering feature linked to ticket to the showing time. That way 1) the ticket can be accessed the day of the movie showing and 2) no issues with food ordering feature earlier than designated movie time. Tried every possible angle on app but to get into the theater before movie time (say 15-30min before start of movie to sit at bar) I needed to go into my email to retrieve the ticket QR code. Only after we sat and the moving showing start time hit did the ticket show up in the app with QR code and option to order food. This worked in the original app months ago, whatever updates you guys have done broke the ticket availability in app before showing. Please fix, I love silverspot but this is a huge headache. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Can no longer order/use credits on new version *2026-07-16, version 6.12.1* Patiently waiting for another redesign. I can no longer order through the app or use my loyalty credits the same way. Also a lot of glitches and misspellings. The redesign feels unprofessional and no intuitive at all. Love the theatre though! But I’m begging please fix this redesign! ### 1/5 — New update to app is really bad *2026-07-14, version 6.12.1* This app used to pretty good and decent but ever since they pushed out the new update, it’s super buggy, unstable, and the new user interface is just no good. You can’t add food to existing orders like you used to, I can’t seem to pull up purchased tickets anymore so I have to go back to my email for the ticket, and to purchase/food in general has been made worse with a buggy user interface. Just the whole experience with the updated app has been no good. I can no longer see my tickets (thank god for email confirmation), so you can’t check in using the app NOR can you add food to your tickets. Whomever is leading add development should be fired. ### 1/5 — Great Cinemas, Terrible App *2026-06-30, version 6.12.1* This is not a review of Silverspot itself, but rather this updated and terrible version of the app. The new app has no way to find tickets that I have already purchased and no way to order food to my seat once in the cinema. I would expect being able to easily find tickets Ive already purchased would be the bare minimum for an app related to movie tickets. The app in its current state is worse than useless, it is actually unhelpful and has led to huge lines at concessions in the theatre since people cant order through their phones like they used to. My wife and I go almost weekly and the old version of the app worked just fine, the new one is terrible.
