Return journey ask on way out. Other than that excellent service 👍 ### 2/5 — Late taxi for train station *2024-11-15, version 34.6.17* 10 minutes late and we would have missed the train if it hadn’t been delayed a few minutes. The taxi was booked a few hours earlier, so no excuses. There was a delay in assigning a driver! You can see it even uses the colour scheme of the lynx logo and uses purple accents throughout its buttons. Was nearly late for work. Didn’t give way at the roundabout near the hospital where we almost had a crash! Terrible!! ### 1/5 — Rude driver *2024-09-01, version 34.6.17* Your driver arrived early and was then incredibly rude when we weren’t ready for him. I will think twice about using Silvertown because of this. ### 1/5 — Not good *2024-05-23, version 34.5.17* Asked my driver to pick me up a few minutes down the road from the automatic pick up spot, charged me £5 more for going down the road 30 seconds. Also not through the taxi company but in person! ### 1/5 — Recommend not using them *2023-12-09, version 34.2.30* The drivers are always unsafe on the road, they’re not polite either. They constantly rip you off when you’re paying cash by not giving you the full money what you’re owed back when giving them an amount of cash. When you do ask where the rest is they act oblivious. They either arrive way too early (unreasonably early) and then expect you to be there waiting for when they arrive, even though they’re not due for atleast another ten minutes, otherwise they drive off. Then if they’re late, they still take the longest route to the destination. ### 1/5 — Don’t bother *2023-05-27, version 34.2.30* Firstly was charged twice for the app. Used app to book a return trip. Then get a message today saying passenger cars have cancelled journey. Phoned Silvertown cars to ask what happened she said that they didn’t cancel the booking. But the payment went to Silvertown and was refunded by Silvertown. She can’t explain what happened. So when I try to re do the booking on the phone she says they don’t cover that area! Well your app took the booking and the money - so your app thinks you cover the area - until the day , then they cancel it for you. Rubbish service - wont be using again. ### 1/5 — Crappy service, Crappy App, Crappy Attitude! *2022-11-13, version 34.0.17* My experience tallies with those of Charlie Winston’s review. The app is terrible, and cars regularly cancelled without notification just minutes, sometimes seconds, before they are due. This is despite booking several hours in advance via the app, and having those bookings accepted and confirmed. I had to go to the airport to pick up my girlfriend and the cab arrived an hour later than scheduled, I went to the airport because I had to travel and I got a ride from a woman high on cocaine.
