It will randomly crash and give a error message stating that you made too many attempts. ### 1/5 — Worst app ever *2023-08-18, version 4.3.5* I’m a guard that Hass to use this crappy app. I really wish my company would get rid of this cheap lame app. Every time I take a post picture the app deletes it it says rerouting data and deletes my posts I have to literally take a picture of one post send it sign out and re-sign back in for every single picture. Worst app ever I can’t describe how much I hate Silvertrac if you are a company looking to invest in a app that keeps your guards on task don’t use this app by hands to God this app is the worst and will cause you nothing but headache and nightmares with your security guards you will have lost posts missing entries. I’ve had pictures and written post notes that were sent in only to hear my dispatch say there’s no pictures are notes that was sent. This is the worst app ever. If I were a -5 stars I would. ### 3/5 — SILVERTRAC UPDATE *2023-08-16* I use Silvertrac for work and most recently it was perfect until today, An update was released and the entire company cannot log in. It’s a horrible inconvenience ### 1/5 — Downloading Route Data *2023-07-31, version 4.3.3* This new update 4.3.3 is terrible... It keeps showing "Downloading Route Data" every 2 seconds and hence no report is uploaded. ### 1/5 — Worst *2023-05-27, version 4.2.3* The worst app I’ve ever use.. On android it is the best thing ever but when it comes to iPhones it’s absolutely atrocious. On android you can scan NFC tags right away just by holding your phone up to the NFC tag but on iPhones you have to go through and select whether you’re scanning a QR code or an NFC tag which in my experience most places use NFC tags and so it’s extremely inconvenient. It’s a waste of a lot of time having to go through and select which one you’re going to be doing and I’ve been thinking about just buying an android specifically because I use this application for a majority of the work that I do. It would be nice to permanently set whether or not you’re using QR codes or NFC tags. You also can’t even zoom in on photos with Android phones and the photo quality with Android phones is horrible. No matter how good the camera is. NEEDS AN UPDATE IMMEDIATELY!! A previous scan/report log needs to be made as well in case you have to look back on your scans/reports. App is faulty in so many ways. ### 1/5 — Poor picture quality *2022-03-24, version 4.1.30* Previous scan log for guards to check would be helpful. So the guards themselves can make sure the scans are submitted. ### 3/5 — Can you add a feature? *2022-01-07, version 4.1.30* I think the app is overall okay so far. The only issue I’ve seen is that there is no setting to automatically select QR code’s or NFC. As a Security Instructor and a Security professional for the last eleven years I know what professionalism looks like and this app can make any seasoned pro look unprofessional. We use it at work on at least 50 devices and every time there is an update we have to re activate every single phone.. This is an issue when your devices are in multiple states and you need someone in California to re activate it for you.. Another major issue I’m noticing is when trying to log in it just doesn’t go anywhere... We have to delete the app - re download and have an admin re activate the phones.. If this issue happens at 3 in the morning and one of my patrol agents is a a property they can’t finish their QRC code scans and it puts us behind.. I would not recommend this app at all.. 👎👎👎👎 ### 1/5 — Crashes every time *2020-08-18, version 4.1.21* Has crashed every single time I’ve attempted to open it on multiple iphones and ipads, went to their support page, riddled with typos and grammatical errors. I have had an issue that is going on two months and there is no resolution in sight! All I’ve been told is that the company is working on the issue! Used it for a long time, unfortunately too may people have one issue and bash immediately instead of just contacting their support, which is great! Yeah I experienced a few things, normal behavior in all software, but they have awesome support and gave me solutions. Just call their support they will work with you. I had some difficulties every now and then, often due to connection issues, but otherwise nothing I wasn’t able to remedy by communicating with my leads/team. To be fair, those issues were occasionally on my end, otherwise, most reports seemed to have gone through accordingly. IIRC, there may have been issues towards the beginning, however I don’t recall ever attempting to reach out to the app developers about the situation.
