In my journey of limiting technology so I stumbled upon this app.  Not only does it allow you to block but also has routines in which you can up times to focus such as in the morning, reading, or winding down at night. I highly recommend this app to anyone trying to find a way to get off your phone and focus on what’s in front of you. Btw the graphics are adorable.

I've tried a lot of focus apps, and Simba stands out because it doesn't rely on guilt or aggressive restrictions. Instead of throwing up a plain block screen, Simba greets you with a personal reminder from the cat mascot before you open a distracting app.It sounds simple, but that small pause makes a real ditterence.
