## What is Simba?

Simba is the official companion app for "Lern mit Simba", a German textbook for kindergarten children aged 3 to 6. Simba the little lion and his friend Nala go with the children through the whole app.

The app is made for children who can't read yet. Buttons show pictures instead of words, and Simba says every button out loud. On first launch, Simba gives a short spoken tour.

Hold a page of the book up to the camera. The app recognises the page and opens its video, song and word cards. No camera? Just choose the page number.

WHAT'S INSIDE

• Videos for the book's activities
• Listening tracks and a song for every unit
• Word cards with pictures and the publisher's own audio
• Picture stories read aloud, each with an animated video
• Pictures from the book to colour in
• A sticker album
• Seven games played with pictures and sound

FOR PARENTS AND TEACHERS

No account, no sign-in, no personal data. No ads, no in-app purchases. The camera only recognises the book page; images are not stored. Content is loaded over the internet. The app's interface is in German, because it teaches German.
