I haven't updated this app to the latest version because I liked the app icon before because it looks better. Why? It's nicer and every app icon now a days does not need to be white! Search box does not offer ability to type as iOS keyboard never appears and then the search box moves up and disappears. It hasn't been updated in 4 years because the developers don't care about their users. Its search doesn't even work now. I found a better app UniChar that fits my needs ### 1/5 — Very Rudimentary at Best *2014-01-19, version 1.1* Not inclusive at all. A basic Google search reveals more. Only a few groups represented. Search does not work very well. At least include all the characters of the phone keyboard. That would only make sense. If one had zero knowledge of HTML they might find this neat. One with some UI design skill set would be confused at how to use the list as there really is no navigation, no sort, no options. Just a scrollable list of symbols that are more kitsch than useful. Be nice to see an update for this useful little app! ### 3/5 — It’s good, but it could be great! *2018-08-29, version 1.3* If only the developer didn’t limit himself to using American English expressions. Two examples which have come to light for me today are when I was trying to use 1/4 and 3/4. In English, we say a quarter, and three quarters, respectively. However, in American, the expressions used are one fourth, and three fourths, respectively. I cannot locate the appropriate symbols when I search using the English terms. I have to use either the American term, or search a completely different way. As it is, it never gets used because it's buried somewhere else in my phone.
