Speeds are poor, only getting LTE with sub megabit throughput. Click the main support link on their page you get page cannot be found. Go to the help center there’s no way to contact them. It works just poorly. ### 3/5 — From great to ok *2026-08-01, version 2.0.12* Once upon a time Simify was really fantastic. Recently it seems decisions have reduced its quality. 1. You need to sign in to the app far to often. It’s an app. Why does it not remember me? 2. Also it defaults to singing me up for marketing material every time I log on. It should remember this and it bugs me every time. 3. The cost has gone up so it’s no longer really great value. Having using Simify for years I think I will try someone else next time. ### 3/5 — Forced updates to use the app not helpful *2026-07-25, version 2.0.10* Using your product but can you please make updating the app optional. It comes up with a pop up which you cannot dismiss - you are forced to update in the App Store. Sometimes I’m in a rush as my eSIM has expired and I need to quickly activate another one. It pops up with ‘do you want to update?’ but there is no way to say ‘no’ so you have to wait while it does that. Then you have to login again including waiting for your login code to come through your emails. So frustrating to have to do this every time you need to activate a new eSIM. ### 3/5 — Forced updates to use the app not helpful *2026-07-04* Using your product but can you please make an update optional. Sometimes I’m in a packs as my eSIM has expired and I need to quickly activate another one using wifi. It says do you want to update but there is no way to say no do you have to wait while it does that and then activate your new eSIM. **Developer response:** Thanks for the feedback. We will pass it on to the relevant team. ### 1/5 — Annoyed *2026-04-26, version 1.63.0* The “unlimited” option isn’t unlimited and wasn’t until I had arrived in Japan I was made aware. The customer service was good however I won’t be using again ### 1/5 — Frustrating *2026-04-16, version 1.63.0* It used to work ok although the inability to make a call was a slight frustration, but now it’s just continually cancels my purchases. Just to add extra annoyance, it cancels the purchase straight away, and then it sends an email confirming the order, despite having already cancelled it. Have followed up multiple times via the support systems but only get fed automated responses. No effort from company to rectify the situation. ### 1/5 — Poor service *2026-07-10, version 1.71* Buy an unlimited eSIM but after 1GB use daily speed is slowed to not even 1Mb per second, making device unusable with no network connection. They call it fair use policy. If I wanted my data capped; pretty much what happened, I’d buy a capped plan. Couldn’t even get network connection to contact them via the app. ### 1/5 — Avoid. Issues with activating and no customer support. *2026-07-02, version 1.71* Purchased eSIM for a recent trip in Bali. Installed but would not activate by QR code or manual entry. Tried their online customer support - AI bot sent me in circles - then no response. Stuck here without network access and money wasted. They finally did it !! ### 1/5 — Terrible *2026-06-16, version 1.70* I used Simify for a 9-day trip to the Philippines and unfortunately had a very poor experience. Although the eSIM appeared to connect to Smart and showed a 4G/5G signal the entire time, I was unable to access any mobile data at all. Apps, websites and social media would not load despite multiple troubleshooting attempts. I contacted support and followed the suggested steps, but the issue was never resolved during my trip, making the service essentially unusable. I ended up relying on Wi-Fi for the duration of my stay. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Simify for travel in the Philippines as I paid for a service that I was unable to use. ### 1/5 — Bad Data *2026-06-07, version 1.69* The data does not work 30% of the time in North America. Plus The support is bad and I lost money from orders I made that didn’t come through to my inbox. ### 1/5 — Worst App and Useless support team *2026-05-24, version 1.67* Took money off my a account without delivering a sim. Customer service is useless, possibly AI with how generic and unhelpful they are. I have family that has lost money and again no delivery of the sim. They take your money, ask you to buy another sim and wait for a slow refund process while you’re on holiday counting you pennies. I am telling everyone I’m coming across of my terrible experience. Please don’t bother. Plenty of online sims with better service are available. ### 1/5 — No customer support *2026-05-09, version 1.64.0* I was struggling with an ‘activation error’ for an hour. I followed all of the steps correctly, including re starting my phone. It says you can contact someone for support but all you get is AI that never responds. Had no problems getting around and signal was relatively fast except for understandably places like underground tunnels. I was concerned that I couldn’t get the confirmation email with the activation link but after msging the service team on the app, they replied within a day. Price was reasonable for unlimited data and I can definitely see myself using this service again. Didn’t notice any cuts in data, used just for everyday things like socials, msging and GPSmaps. I was in HongKong btw and spent a day in Shenzhen China and Guangzhou China. All worked! No firewall issues in China, works just like a vpn!
