## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — working

*2025-11-15*

Bummer, the best ever list but suddenly stopped working. Reloaded twice but no go.

### 1/5 — Useless

*2020-12-05, version 1.3*

What is the point of this app. Why not just use iPhone lists. Waste of effort to download, it literally offers you nothing

### 1/5 — My UPDATED review 5/17/20. Simple, Handy, Highly Awkward, UPDATE NEEDED

*2020-05-17*

My UPDATED review 5/17/20
Still no update no response. I would give this “ZERO “ stars if possible compared to my recommendation below. Apple should clear out deadbeat abandoned apps like this one.
Here’s what I recommend. UNLOAD THIS APP and try EASY NOTE 2 App. It gives simplicity and common sense options to organize your basic style lists. Enjoy.
*My Original review*
Not updated for WAY TOO LONG. There has been giant leaps in app design since this was last updated. I love the simple look, layout, clarity. Awkward is now leaning toward “Awful Clunky”. Something as basic as cut and paste does not exist in this app... as in replicating an item to another list. Really???
I have to retype instead of transfer???? …and many more obviously missing tweaks.
I’m into the app, meaning I’m ’stuck’ in it, for now. I’m DEFINITELY looking to unload this app as soon as i find an app updated and suited for 2020. I’m not the only one.

### 1/5 — Crap App & Crap Service

*2018-07-09*

App won't work for me. I emailed customer service for help, and was ignored.

### 2/5 — Old App still works, but not that well

*2024-03-09*

Now over a year since my last review, and a major iOS update or two, this App is not surprisingly starting to not work as expected.
Oh well, glad I didn’t use it for really important stuff.

After 6 years with no updates this App still sorta works. I wish some of my games still worked. It doesn’t recognize Dark Mode, but you can still create a list

### 4/5 — Very Happty

*2023-05-30, version 1.3*

I’ve been using this app for about four years and I enjoy it very much :) It is very easy to use and remembers every thing I’ve inputted in the past.

### 4/5 — Old App still works

*2022-03-27, version 1.3*

After 6 years with no updates this App still sorta works. I wish some of my games still worked.
It doesn’t recognize Dark Mode, but you can still create a list

### 4/5 — Useful for recycling items

*2016-10-08*

If you have lists or items you use frequently, this app intuitively has your completed items on the add items screen for easy reuse.

### 4/5 — Simple but great.

*2015-05-27*

One of the most useful third party watch application.

### 5/5 — Excellent replacement for Wunderlist

*2020-05-02*

Exactly the App I’ve been looking for to replace Wunderlist. I can very easily create multiple different lists, and add-remove items from each list. The only thing I am missing is the sound wunderlist made when I completed an item, but not a major ☺️

## Most praised reviews (6 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Simple Lists +

*2018-08-06*

Simple list is an excellent app. I have tried one note, Evernote, wunderlist, any do, and simple list is the best. I like that it displays different lists, and then you can add to or take away items in those lists all on your Apple Watch without using Siri just voice dictation. Each list is simply displayed and not with a date or something else. Also, an item is completely shown and not just partially shown. My only suggestion is to have the ability to change the font size on the iPhone.

### 5/5 — Update please

*2018-04-21*

Great for shopping, I’ve been using for 2 years. Please update to work with iCloud!

### 5/5 — Great “simple” app

*2018-01-21*

Love the easy to use on my Apple Watch. Great fast sync to my iPhone. This would be the best Apple Watch list app if it could sync to my iPad.
Could use a number (1, 2, 3, etc...) of list items next to title file on first page. This would limit the time needed to open the file just to see if there is a pending list.
I will use for a few months but might find a better app that will sync to my iPad because this is very important for my business.

### 5/5 — Best list app for Watch, but...

*2016-01-07*

This app could definitely use the ability to add multiple items at once. I have 20 item lists in my notes that I'd rather not add one at a time. Similar apps do have this functionality. On that same note, resetting a list should be a one step process. Thanks for all the hard work making the app. Much appreciated!

### 5/5 — So far so good

*2015-08-14*

Update: this app works very well. I use it on my iPhone 6 and Apple Watch. Here's how it works for me.

Any list syncs from my phone to watch (but not from iPad unfortunately). It also appears in my glances and is quick to make changes. I set it as the first Glance I see after the default one. Which means one swipe up, and one over and I see my latest open list. Great to view my tasks quickly without pulling out my phone!

If I want to make changes, see another list, etc, I tap the app. It opens the most recently viewed list (I use 2 mainly, To Do and Groceries). To check as done, just one tap and it goes away. To add another item, press and hold, and speak when prompted. Works great.

Not even Evernote allows you to add an item on your Watch.

And this is the only one that is viewable in Glances and quick to view and make changes. Well done!

Just add iPad syncing and it'll be perfect!

8/13

Went through like 10 apps to find one that worked well on my Apple Watch.

Does what I need. Simple lists, accessible through Glances, not a lot of buttons or swipes to access them.

How is it that all the fancy apps couldn't do those simple things?

### 5/5 — Excellent List app

*2015-06-02*

This app does exactly what I want without overloading it with features you never use.

I was looking for an easy to use app that would allow me to have multiple lists (To Do, Buy, etc) both on my phone and AppleWatch. This fit the need perfectly. The color coding of the different lists is a nice touch. It’s easy to add items, and check them off on your watch.

My only complaint is that I haven’t found a way to edit the text of an item after you’ve added it (to fix spelling as an example).
