This iPad app is to create Sales Orders on the go. Now AirPrint Enabled! SETTING UP COMPANY INFORMATION: Open up the app, and fill in your company information, tap on “Change Defaults” to start and tap on "Save" when you are finished. This information will be displayed on each sales order. You can change this information later by tapping on the "Change Defaults" button. CHANGE DEFAULTS: The following fields can be edited: Company Name, Company Slogan, Address 1, Address 2, Phone Number, Fax Number (some users change this to website address or e-mail address), Sales Order Number, Company Policy 1, Company Policy 2, and Sales Tax (some countries prefer other naming instead of “Sales Tax”). Tap on the “Save” button when you are done editing the defaults. NOTE: If you change the company information it will only appear on future invoices. ADDING A LOGO: Your logo file should be named “logo.png” NOTE: lowercase spelling and PNG format. If you don’t know or you aren’t sure how to change the format of your logo file, you need to contact your graphics designer. NOTE: YOU CANNOT CHANGE THE FORMAT Y SIMPLY RENAMING THE EXTENSION TO PNG. A logo designed with 100 x 100 pixels works best. You can use the default logo if you like. Connect your iOS device to your computer. Open up iTunes. On the left column select your iOS device and then click on the “Apps” near the top of the right hand pane. Scroll down to the bottom and from the “File Sharing” section on iTunes, Choose “Sales Order”. Click on “Add” and choose the your logo.png and when iTunes prompts select to overwrite or replace the file. CREATING A NEW SALES ORDER: Tap on the "New" sales order button and fill out your customer information, and ship to information. Next, fill out the quantity, description, and unit price. Simple Sales Order will calculate the subtotal. Finally fill out the sales tax percentage and any shipping and handling charges. If you do not have any of these charges you should enter in a zero for “Sales Tax” and a zero for “Shipping & Handling”. USING YOUR IOS ADDRESS BOOK: Tap on the “Address” button next to “To” and/or “Ship To” above where you would input the customer information and you can then select a contact to have the customer information auto fill from the iOS address book. NOTE: Line #10 is for any labor services only this is used when sales tax is not calculated against a labor charge. If your state does not charge sales tax on labor then use this line. If your state does charge sales tax on labor use one of the other nine item lines. If you are unsure of which method to use, you should contact a CPA. When your sales order is complete, you tap on save. At this point if you like to, you can e-mail a copy of the sales order that was created so your customer will have a digital copy. No more misunderstandings due to bad handwriting! Once you have more than one sales order, you can conveniently scroll between orders using the "Next" and "Previous" buttons. These buttons will not function if you are in the middle of creating an invoice or editing an existing invoice. You can edit an existing invoice by navigating to an existing invoice, tapping on the "Edit" button. You can edit any inputted data field EXCEPT the invoice number, and your company information. When you are done editing, tap on the "Save" button. This app is complete with backup and restore options, so you have an opportunity to save your important data! This technology is exclusive to Breaux Software; you will only find it here. Refund please ### 1/5 — Nope, don't do it! Save your money. *2017-11-20* App just basically will make a single order, not several. Won't save any orders and the first line cannot be altered once anything is entered upon it. Pretty much useless. It did interface with my printer and that is about all it did successfully. Every time I logged on it told me I had to enter my business information, even though it was already there. When asked to save the current order, it instructed me to enter an amount, description and amount per item, this had already been done for several items. If you need something to cause frustration in your life buy this app, if you already have enough frustration, don't waste your money. meh. Revised Review: I gave this app chance after chance and have updated every time it came up. Unfortunately, it is still a pos and now I can't edit what I just put into the form. Going to delete and just regret my purchase, again. Revised Review: Aaand I tried AGAIN to get this to work I am amazed, that, Hey, it works, but only for ONE order. Pretty much after several years they haven't FIXED the main issues. Don't buy it. Just don't. ### 1/5 — Excited to disappointed *2014-02-16* This app seemed to have exactly what I was looking for. I can add my business logo,change modify the template and email the order to my customers. Worth the $10.00 or so I thought. One day my created template was gone.... I recreated it, then I could only type in certain fields. I tried reinstalling it .... same issue. Wish I could get my money back. This app needs some TLC. It saves me so much time; especially the email feature. Can you guys provide the option of emailing in PDF or text format. As of this version, you only allow for PDF. However the receiver of my SO's needs the ability to copy and paste info from the order to another system. This means they need to retype the information. ### 1/5 — Not very happy *2013-06-20, version 1.12* Well, this ap worked very well for 1 sales order. Then it locked up and didnt let me edit the second, and on the second it didnt fill,in the amounts properly. The problem is now, when I click on new order it gives me the messed up one, that I can't edit. So this program is useless to me now. A d when I clicked on ap help, it took me to a site with no contact Info. Would appreciate a response and help. Or a refund! ### 3/5 — simple sales is easy *2011-10-03* Of all the sales apps I've purchased to look at, this is the easiest by far. Unfortunately, it needs a couple of tweeks to make it the best sales app on the market. 1. need to be able to select previous sales orders by customer, currently you have to scroll through every order made to find the ones you made out previously to the same customer. 2. the description field needs to "learn" your items as you put them in the first time so you don't have to write them out every time you make out a new order for the same item. 3. need to have a way to list all open sales orders and be able to "check off" completed orders to avoid duplications. Hopefully these improvements will be made soon. If so, then this app gets 5 stars from me. ### 1/5 — Refund please! *2011-10-01, version 1.07* The one thing I don't like about iTunes is you cannot get refunds! This is a lousy app for too much money! I decided to take the risk and try it out, now I'm out $9.99. Too complicated. Too many ridiculous expectations for something that's supposed to be, "Simple". Example, to change your company logo, you have to enter some numbered web address, name your file a certain way and it must be a certain size...and even then, the 'Choose File' option didn't show up!
