I tried it out to see if it had any use and it just doesn’t read. Text aloud on my iPhone. Happy I didn’t pay for it.

The buttons are small and all the same size and color which makes it feel very plain and boring. When I scroll through voice options my phone lags heavily which makes me assume the app is running a heavy function while an option is in focus rather than waiting for something to actually be selected. If I am on silent mode the app doesn’t tell me that the playback failed.

= don’t spend outrageous amounts for a text to speech applications=
Text2speech:

A little less real than human voice, but- you can adjust all the features tone, speed, tone, language and female to middle range from top to very low - I found the right setting , tone, speed , male / female. There are an array of different voices, different voices - I wanted the male voice to setup my voice mail- not my voice - but so easy to change for what I needed. Some of the text to speech outrageous in price - from $230+ - right down to 2.99 and SPEECHIFY is the worst rated! 
Do a search for text to speech applications, however : be careful as I said - research for the best text to voice rated ( and for its value it’s a winner- especially if you’re wanting to make a voicemail and using Text2speech is one of the easiest platforms to work with. You enter your text and then play- you can adjust pitch, speed and tone - male or female, or a neutral voice if that is what you desire.
