You can vary the time to the start of the meditation and the length of the meditation (to the minute). It keeps running in the background if you call up something else on your phone and you can see the display throughout the duration if you lent it alone. It has evolved over the years usefully (eg not runs well In the background). A glitch I had today was it was not playing thought my bluetooth - but that is unimportant. I value particularly the no frills approach. The bell rings to start and the bell rings to end the meditation. You choose whether to have a countdown and how long to meditate. This is all I need. I have never used an app so consistently. Nothing I don’t need. No bells and whistles. I’ve found bugs and limitations with the free ones I’ve tried.
