I thought I’d try a year later and (obviously) forgot my password. Put in my email and it’s tells me if I have an account I’ll receive an email to rest my password. Easy enough. I get the email, rest my password. The moment I go to log in it says “contact customer support”. Been there, done that. Never got anywhere with them a year ago. I’m not about to waste more time on this. The price for this mirror was insane. No reason in the world there should be this many problem. Once a well respected brand. I see many others now consider this a total waste of time and money as well. This mirror will go in the trash where it belongs. I can’t even adjust any lighting at all, none of this works.I also bought the travel mirror and then will not connect to Wi-Fi whatsoever I have done absolutely everything the directions say to do and it will not connect, sending it back! It’s honestly unbelievable that a company of this size hasn’t fixed an issue that affects so many customers. The reviews here speak for themselves — people have been complaining for years and nothing has changed. If the app can’t be fixed, they should at least create a new one so customers can actually use what they paid for. When I first got the mirror it took awhile for the mirror to even connect the app, when I connected to the app I tried to click on one of the different light settings, nothing happened on my mirror and I also never got any options displayed on the photo to turn the brightness down, up etc. After a minute of sitting there seeing if something would happen, a message popped up “Uh-ho! You’re not connected to WiFi reconnect” when I knew I was. I tried 3 more times and yet absolutely nothing is occurring for my mirror, I also don’t have the clock option shown at the top, only a timer and the light adjustments. This is extremely disappointing since my mommom spent a good amount of money for this for me and it doesn’t work as displayed. I ordered a refurbished one, when it arrived the same problem connecting occurred. Yes I have the Bluetooth on, yes I have the correct wifi. So no, it’s not my mirror, it’s the app as so many others have stated. And customer service is impossible to reach…emails and texts turn into days of no response. Love it ### 5/5 — Update - Simplehuman has fixed the issues. *2022-03-19, version 1.2.2* I would have strongly preferred to not have had to contact Simplehuman’s support team as I have been very sick and did not have the time or energy to spare, but in a recent update they actually did address the issues I brought up and fixed the app. I appreciate that they listened to my concerns and this app now includes all of the features that I want. Previous review: My mirror was working perfectly with the old app. I opened it today and it has apparently been redesigned and I was directed to use this app instead. This app is missing two important features of the old one. I cannot see the charge level of my mirror now, and I also cannot adjust the settings so that the light turns off automatically for any length of time past 30 seconds. The previous app allowed me to choose 1 minute, 5 minutes, and 10 minutes, on top of the options this new app has.
