I emailed customer service for help and no one responded. I’ve started looking for another VPN and even though I paid for an entire year, will have to chalk it up to bad luck. ### 2/5 — Meh… *2025-09-24* Living in China makes me a really demanding user of a VPN due to obvious reasons. So I used to be an user, it had good prices and favorable speed, but the connection wasn’t totally good, it didn’t maintained the connection all the time, not every server used to work, and the laptop app didn’t had the support to a “VPN Sharing” option. So it’s not a good option for people that really needs a good, fast and totally reliable VPN service. Here is the reason: 1. our customer support guy recently loose a closest family member and thus sometimes not able to reply the fastest way. 2. sometime if you open chat room with vpn on it may takes longer, we recommend that you switch off vpn first then text customer support. 3. recently we got many attack from those who have malicious intentions, and thus causing turbulence, but we usually fix them within 5 - 60 minutes. I hope you experience with us will get back to good with us, thanks for the trust. If you can correct the rating, it would be very helpful for us. I’m currently looking for a replacement ### 1/5 — Terrible Service *2026-03-03* They are constantly experiencing issues. They send messages about maintenance and keep changing the configurations all the time. They take your money, provide no service, and won’t respond when you request a refund. Personally, I paid for five months. They changed their system, my ID is no longer available, and my money is gone. ### 1/5 — App and Service is dead. *2026-03-02* Used to be good I paid for a year. I asked for a solution and they just told me to use a non Chinese AppStore account. Wow!!! So where do I get that? Cus if I had one I wouldn’t be asking you like this. Used to be a good vpn, now it is unusable in China. Really regret purchasing the pro plan. ### 1/5 — DOES NOT WORK FOR CHINA *2025-01-24* This service DOES NOT WORK FOR CHINA. It does not disguise your traffic and you cannot access all services and websites. Your google search results will be redirected to Google HK ad be displayed in Chinese. Any streaming services that limit location access will be UNUSABLE. Customer service replied that "technically it works", despite 'attempts' to troubleshoot and then replied, "SORRY, WE DON"T DO REFUNDS." I asked them to show me the documentation that I agreed to and they provided me with NOTHING. They said they need to remotely access my computer in order to prove that it doesn't work even though i provided them with multiple screenshots and their own tests duplicated my results. BTW I have previous experience as an IT professional. While I was in their customer service chat box, I was typing a question and before I sent the message, they replied to my question. The trustworthiness of their website itself is also questionable. After I asked for documentation, i attempted to log in to my account on their website and the website was down, which makes me believe there was an alteration made. **Developer response:** We understand that PeacockTV detecting your real location was a dealbreaker after you subscribed. Our VPN works with Netflix, Disney, Prime Video, and Hulu in China. However PeacockTV uses more advanced method to know that your IP is in china. In the end its not a problem of VPN but a geo block policy of PeacockTV. we are sorry about it.
