If that happens with the iPhone app, I would be willing to give it a better reading, but for what I can do it is very simple. Also, another suggestion is that there is an Apple Watch app however, unfortunately the app does not have the ability for you to add as a complication on your watch face so that does make it a little more challenging to get to because you have to open the app from your apps list instead of adding a complication to your watch face so if you’re wanting to record something very quickly, you have to have the app open already so that you can start the recording. If you could have the ability on the Watch app to allow the app to be added as a complication to your watch face that would make the watch app even better. Overall, it is a good app and still does give really good sound. They’re also a little bit of background noise that is happening where if that could be brought down and you didn’t hear some of the static in the background that would make the recording even that much clearer. It’s fine if people wanna make money making apps, it’s just annoying there’s no sign of this limitation until you try to share it. Being upfront and honest about his would have meant I wouldn’t have wasted time making a recording that’s trapped on my phone, and would be the non-sleazy thing to do. ### 1/5 — They are trying to trick you. Be better than me. *2018-04-11* The recorder was all right, but the big bad thing about this is that the app made it seem like you could share/email recordings for free but no. You cannot. You have to pay $3 to do that, which is dumb. And my procrastinating college self paid the fee anyway bc I was tired of searching for simple recording apps and ready to be just done with a project. Don’t let them get you. Learn from my mistakes. Search longer and harder for better, less predatory apps. ### 1/5 — Refuses to launch *2017-07-18, version 1.6.3* After downloading this app (on multiple attempts), Simple Mic just won't launch. Clicking on it displays the interface screen for just an instant, then it quits itself immediately. The Apple Watch app never manages to connect to the host app on my phone either. As such, this app is totally unusable.
