I use both Linux and iOS versions of this program. Not having a simple Undo/Redo feature easily accessible like it is on the Linux Version is unacceptable to me. A one second error is a time machine fix on iOS instead of a quick Undo. 

That needs to be addressed. Undo/Redo buttons should be visible during all edits.

Poderiam colocar uma opção para “desfazer” algo que foi apagado. A função que existe é muito “complicada” e não funciona direito. 
As vezes acontece de eu apagar parte de uma anotação, mas não sei como desfazer, porque a função funciona quando quer.

that was a real scare. years of notes that are important to me are kept here, and now i don't know if i can trust this app. i don't know why that happened, but i hope you can fix whatever issue caused all my notes to appear deleted. if this happens to anyone else, try to log out and then back in. that was an awful feeling

edit from like 10 minutes later: every time i close the app, my notes disappear again and i have to log back in to be able to open even one. i think i will look for an alternative to this app, because that's ridiculous

Leider gibt es nicht, wie in der normalen Notiz App von iOS die „Rückgängig“-Funktion, wenn man mal aus Versehen einen ganzen Bereich gelöscht hat, ist er komplett weg… wie jedes andere Programm sollte es einen normalen Button für rückgängig und wiederherstellen geben. Danke. Ansonsten gut.

I’ve been using this for a few years now and felt it was time to give the developers credit for what is one of the most useful apps I have. It’s very simple to use. It’s easy to manage and organize my many many notes. It doesn’t pester me with ads or “upgrades”. I’ve never had any issues with it syncing across multiple devices. It’s just the best.

Every time I try to log in it says one of two things: that it can’t reach the network or that the password is wrong! Nothing is wrong with the network and the password is correct! I’m looking for alternatives because your product sucks now!!!

Don’t waste your time, literally.  The syncing is unreliable and when it fails(which it will), it fails in the worst way, so you’re going to have to try to rewrite things you have already written once. I’m done with this garbage app.

I normally don’t write reviews, but I feel obligated to share what happened so no one else has to go through the same thing. This might be a bit long, but please read it if you rely on this app. In short, several days of work disappeared in an instant. I had been writing and saving tens of thousands of characters on my phone over several days. I then opened the PC version of Simplenote so I could sync my notes between devices. However, on the PC version only about one-fifth of my notes appeared. While I was waiting for it to sync, the notes from my phone synced to the PC — but instead of restoring the missing notes, the remaining four-fifths of my writing disappeared and could not be recovered. I tried using the history feature in the app (which is supposed to let you revert to previous editing points). The history clearly showed timestamps right before and a few minutes before the moment my phone synced, so I attempted to restore those versions. But the text that should have been there was not restored at all. The history only contained the shortened version with about one-fifth of the content — the version that had synced automatically. The app was fully updated. I tried logging out and logging back in, but that did nothing. My data was completely gone. I even checked the trash, although I knew it wouldn’t be there since I hadn’t deleted anything myself. My records are simply gone. What makes this worse is that this wasn’t the first time. The exact same thing happened two days earlier. At that time I had just started writing, so I didn’t think much of it because I couldn’t figure out what caused it. I had used this app for several years, but this completely destroyed my trust in it. The time and effort I put into writing those notes will never come back. Absolutely terrible experience.

2021년부터 써왔는데 벌써 몇번째 동기화 충돌로 기록을 날렸는지 모르겠습니다... 중요한 메모였는데 통째로 날린 게 한두번도 아니고 이러면 이걸 쓸 이유가 없죠. 오랫동안 정 붙이고 썼는데 다른 앱으로 갈아탑니다.

95% of my notes are in Simplenote. 99% of my shared notes are in Simplenote. I only resort to Apple Notes for heavily formatted notes, and encrypting special notes.

Free, easy to use, you can use it on most devices, you can sync to as many devices as you want for free, you can use it offline (sync needs online though), you can organise your notes using tags and view notes with specific tags (so kind of like folders). No limit on number of notes or note size, app performs well, and you can even use markdown to add some formatting to your notes (including tick boxes!). As a simple note taking app, it does everything you need it to, for free! Couldn’t recommend more.

I have been using this app for years and it is absolutely my favorite note taking app. The voiceover accessibility can't be any better. The ability to Sync across devices is huge and the interface is so simple and clean. I will never stop telling people about this app when they look for a note taking alternative. Thank you for this! Just will delete some notes of yours if you worked on them on another computer. Zero registration of conflict or any attempt to manage it.

Excellent program and it synchs perfectly with all of my various devices. Would appreciate it, though, if I could have an undo inside of a note so if I delete something by accident, I can undo it.
