The SimplePractice Client Portal iOS app empowers you to manage care for you or your loved ones from one secure place. Stay connected with your practitioner between appointments from the convenience of your phone. Your personal information is kept private, yet easily accessible for your convenience.

Simplify how you access care with features like:
• Passwordless login – Securely log into your Client Portal without the hassle of a username or password by setting up a passcode, touch ID, or Face ID for instant access. 
• Personalized notifications – Get push notifications sent right to your phone regarding any new messages, invoices, or documents that have been sent to you by your practitioner.
• Secure messaging – Message your practitioner directly from your phone knowing that all communication is secure and private.
• Upcoming appointments and requests – View all your upcoming appointments, and request a new appointment with your practitioner directly from the app. 
• Digital payments – Add new payment methods to pay your bills including HSA and FSA cards. You can even pay directly from the app.

To access the SimplePractice Client Portal iOS app, you must be invited to use the SimplePractice Client Portal by your practitioner. When you first log into the app, the email you provided to your practitioner will be used to authenticate your Client Portal access. This app is great. The only thing that could be improved is being able to see the messages while I’m in a video call and also send and receive those messages in the. It blocks me out when I’m in a video call. I understand this is for safety

I cannot recommend Matthew Mewhorter highly enough.

Matt is an exceptionally professional, compassionate, understanding, and accommodating counselor who genuinely meets his clients where they are. From the very beginning, he created a safe, supportive environment where I felt heard, respected, and understood.

Over the past year, I faced the most difficult chapter of my life—my journey through kidney cancer. There were moments filled with fear, uncertainty, and emotional exhaustion. Throughout that time, Matt was like a torch that illuminated the path ahead when everything else felt dark. His calm presence, thoughtful guidance, and unwavering support helped me navigate challenges that often felt overwhelming.

One of the qualities I appreciate most is Matt’s unique perspective as a cancer survivor himself. His understanding goes beyond textbooks or clinical training. Having expressed his own experience through art, he brings a profound sense of empathy, resilience, and humanity into every session. That perspective has helped me see my own journey differently—not only as a survivor, but as someone capable of finding hope, growth, and meaning after adversity.

I absolutely love this app to communicate with and upload/download documents between my doctor and I. I wish there were more features available for responses, though. For example, you can’t react to text messages, or edit if needed. Once the message is sent, it’s sent exactly how it was typed in, even if you made a mistake or need to change something. You also can’t delete and then rewrite it, so if you accidentally send something before you’re finished, you can’t fix it.
