I already did one book, purchased twice. The IT people are quite responsive. One day, I thought I had lost the entire new book I was working on and the team answered kindly and quickly several times in a row. One suggestion, as many people who work on these photo books are older as their families might not have the time, may I suggest that the photo search display much bigger pictures. Just like the ones in iPad photos. These are minuscule. Even a well seing person could not make a difference between almost similar photos (like the best smile of three photos, for example). I have to get my magnifier along with my glasses for it to work. I could go much faster. This is what I am dreading when working with this app. I would do much books if this was fixed…I am sure I am not the only one. The app people and us could greatly benefit! Love your app. So easy to use. I’ve never used SimplePrints and I stumbled upon it at random one day searching for a photo album app. First, the app is very easy to use. Second, I had an issue adding my address at checkout and the staff promptly emailed me (on a Sunday!) and did it for me. Third, when the album was submitted they reviewed the project and let me know about some issues before proceeding to print and allowed me to make adjustments. The final product was perfect and I’m very impressed. I will be a repeat customer and I will definitely be recommending this app to other people for their projects! ### 5/5 — Best Service, Best Quality *2024-12-19, version 6.35.5* I have been a Simple Prints customer for 8 years or so. I have never been disappointed with either quality or service. I use a third-party collage app to make my photos or text into images and then simply upload them to the SimplePrints app. In the Simple Prints App, I use the QR code feature for videos a lot. I take a screenshot of the code, crop it, and add it to the photo or collage in the third-party app and then upload it to Simple Prints. Really easy and I love it. I have made Simple Prints books for all sorts of things in addition to family photo books with videos. For example, I have made genealogical family histories with text and photographs of documentation; cookbooks with text, photos, and videos; history booklets for fundraisers; and catalogs of family heirlooms. Their cloud storage also works really well. I have never lost any of my work. As far as service goes, they respond to emails in the blink of an eye, and I love it when I get contacted immediately if I have a duplicate photo somewhere or if they find a mistake I’ve made. The few times I’ve had a small problem (corners crunched up during shipping, for example), they have kindly replaced the damaged book. They have also upgraded shipping to a faster delivery whenever they have a delay on their side. Night and day. The reproduction was crystal clear, the layout easy to navigate for this retired lady and I made a keepsake of all the flowers I saw on my quarantine solo walls these past months. It was so glorious that we decided to make it a tradition. I tried to make a surprise photo book of our trip with several companies before landing on Simple Prints. It was the most user friendly. I am 73 and not that computer savvy. I worked a long time on it and finally finished. It was hard for me but they helped me along the way. I sent in the finished product and ordered 2 books. They arrived and had a few small errors. I was distraught but this wonderful company allowed me to make the corrections at no charge for two new books. I cannot say enough good things about their customer service and product. They will continue to have my business until I can’t travel anymore. Thank you, Simple Prints!! ### 5/5 — I LOVE Simple Prints *2024-08-09* Years ago I searched for a company to make photo books. Manywere overwhelming with technology. My NYC daughter-in-law told me she made summer vacationphotobooks for her daughters through Simple Prints. I immediately liked the page layout options for multiple photos. I like being able to control what’s seen or cropped in a photo. If it’s a great photo you can give it a whole page. If it’s an experience or story with multiple photos, you can collage them in a layout of up to 9 photos on a page. This provides lots of flexibility. Adding a caption at the bottom of a page can help to tell the story and include significant detail: location, names, dates, etc. for reference. There are options for designing the cover of the book and a photo can now be added to the back of the book - for a nice ending and use of that space. The prints are clear and the colors bright. Care is taken to put the book together. It is a beautiful finished product that I’m proud to give as a gift. If I get stuck I email the amazing “Happiness Ambassadors”(Customer Service) and get an immediate response that someone will get back to me. Kym and Linsie are always polite, professional, and So helpful with details!!!! Last week I submitted a book to print. I quickly received an email saying that they had found some errors and pulled the book from print….with the option of a full refund. The errors were that I had a duplicate photo, inadvertently inserted a colored mat,….and they asked if I had ordered 2 of the same book by mistake. I so appreciated their catching these mistakes before the book went to print…..and checking that I really wanted two of the same project. I’ve made many books now and I’m planning t assemble more– including a family history book. Simple Prints is simply the Best!!! You can trust the consistent quality of their work! It randomly drops pages you’ve created and the servers act slow and overloaded. Maybe it got too popular. All I know is that I won’t use it again. Sadly I've had nothing but trouble since the beginning. I don't like that the photos you download get automatically put on pages so that if you want to edit the pages, you have to go in and remove each picture...which took a bit to figure out. I don't like that you can't rearrange the pages or photos into a different order. But the main issue was that after every page I finished, it would look okay at first and then when I clicked on the page again, it would say that the photo couldn't load or wasn't saved. Every page! Why is Apple allowing companies to steal our data. I’m tired of all these companies charging me for their product and stealing my information. Don’t use this app if you care about privacy. ### 1/5 — Too many issues with app *2021-09-28* I have used the app in 2017 to make a 20-30 page photo book and I thought I’d use it again to make a larger book of our most recent trip. This time I had 1000+ pictures to sort through and the app just wasn’t up to it. Some of the issues were just inconveniences as the iPad app not allowing landscape view except when previewing the book, to bigger issues like app constantly crashing and rearranging my photos on the shelf bar on top when I reopen the app, having no way to multi select pics on the shelf bar to get rid of them when you reach the max, making me drag each one to the trash can. Sometimes the pics just come back when you restart the app making it reach the limit again or sometimes even after dragging and deleting 100’s of pictures and getting rid of pages from the book itself, it still tells me I’ve reached my 500 limit. I don’t know if it’s storing them in memory but randomly it’ll allow me to add more time to time until the proble, starts all over again. After days of fighting with the app and reaching a bit over 200 pages, I’m throwing in the towel. **Developer response:** Hi Wafflekone, I'm very sorry to hear you had trouble with the app. This sounds very unusual and not at all like how Simpleprints is intended to work.
