## What is SimplePrompt?

SimplePrompt turns your iPhone into a professional autocue. Load your script, hit record, and speak naturally — SimplePrompt listens to your voice and scrolls your script sentence by sentence, keeping the words right where you need them: at the top of the screen, close to the camera, so your eyes never drift.

Speak naturally. SimplePrompt keeps up.

Using on-device speech recognition, SimplePrompt tracks your place in the script as you talk — no tapping, no swiping, no manually nudging a scroll bar mid-take. It handles the autocue so you can focus on your delivery.

Record at the same time

Your video records in full quality while you read. When you stop, it saves straight to your Photos library, ready to edit or share.

Built for real-world use

- Sentence-by-sentence scrolling keeps you reading near the camera lens
- 3-2-1 countdown so you're composed before rolling
- Front and back camera support
- Mirror mode for use with a teleprompter glass or beamsplitter
- Screen stays on for the duration of your take
- Adjust brightness of the video in background and the size of the font
- Loads plain text and Markdown script files
- Your last script is remembered, so you can pick up exactly where you left off

Whether you're recording YouTube videos, social media content, business presentations, training materials, or anything else where you need to speak to camera — SimplePrompt makes you look like you know it by heart.
