Maximum Speed now available!

The app now shows your maximum speed per session when long-pressing the display. The value is saved to memory until you quit the app or your Apple Watch ends the current session.

### 3.2 — 2025-07-24

The new version now also supports a short "loading..." message when the location is loaded via satellite. There isn't always a connection to a satellite, sometimes the operating system shuts this service down, due to energy cost or you are at a location where the apple watch isn't able to reach a satellite. In those cases you will see the short loading-information string.
Improvements to the measurement switching system. The app should be able to switch from mph to km/h based on the country's default measurement system.

We really care about making sure that everyone can use SimpleSpeed in the best way for them. That's why we're so excited to tell you about our new accessibility features! Now, you can choose to have higher contrast, smaller or bigger texts – whatever works best for you.

### 2.0 — 2025-06-17

Supporting mp/h and km/h!
You now have the option to change the measurement system in which your speed is displayed. By default the app shows the speed in your default settings for measurement. That means when you live in the us, you can now see your speed in miles per hour instead of kilometers per hour.

### 1.1 — 2025-06-09

New version! New possibilities! Even though it is the simplest app for tracking your speed, you can still track your speed even if the app has been in the background for more than two minutes. The session automatically restarts, allowing the app to stay active when you lower your wrist. I have also got rid of the HealthKit pop-ups asking you about your data. This data was never saved and will never be used! So don't worry!
