## What is SimpliExpense?

SimpliExpense is the no-fuss way to track business mileage and expenses and turn them into an IRS-ready report — without lifting a finger while you drive.

AUTOMATIC MILEAGE
• Detects drives automatically in the background using motion + location, so you never start or stop a trip manually.
• Swipe to classify Business or Personal — or let smart rules do it: work-hours, home↔office commute, and "local errand" trips near home or the office are sorted for you.
• Prefer manual control? Tap Start Trip / End Trip, or add a drive by address. Turn automatic tracking off entirely for a manual-only, battery-light mode.
• Combine multi-leg journeys (rest and fuel stops) into a single drive.

ON-DEVICE RECEIPT SCANNING
• Scan a receipt and SimpliExpense reads the merchant, total, tax, and date — all on your device. Nothing is uploaded.
• Add cash expenses by hand, attach photos, and record participants for meals and lodging.
• Per-diem meal support and standard expense categories.

IRS-READY REPORTS
• Generate a polished PDF for any month with every IRS-required field, grouped by trip with per-trip and grand totals.
• Scanned receipts are attached as clean, readable pages.
• Export CSV for QuickBooks. Email or share in a tap.

TRIPS
• Group drives and expenses into named trips. Create a trip over a date range and auto-tag everything from that timeframe in one step.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN

• Your GPS routes never leave your device. Receipt images stay on your device too — unless you submit a report to your company for approval, which shares that report's receipts privately with your approver.
