## What is SimpliGPS Go?

SimpliGPS Go keeps your family, and the things your family cares about, on one live map.

See where everyone is, know the moment they arrive somewhere, and stop asking "are you there yet?".

LIVE LOCATION
See your whole family on a single map, updating in real time. Tap anyone to see where they are, how long they have been there, and their phone battery, so you know if they are about to go offline.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE ALERTS
Save the places that matter, like Home, School, the Gym or Grandma's house. Get notified the moment someone arrives or leaves.

KEEP AN EYE ON THE KIDS
Know they got to school, see when they leave a friend's house, and keep an eye on a new driver without hovering over them.

AND THE THINGS THAT GO MISSING
Add a SimpliGPS tracker to whatever you would hate to lose:

- The dog or the cat, so a runaway is a map away, not a lost afternoon
- Suitcases and bags, so you know if your luggage actually made the flight
- The camper van or caravan, parked up or on the road
- Motorbikes, e-bikes and pushbikes
- The car, the trailer, the boat, the tools in the back

They all appear on the same map as your family, so there is one place to look.

ACTIVITY HISTORY
Every trip and arrival in one simple timeline. Tap a trip to replay the route on a map and see exactly where it started and ended.

DRIVING INSIGHTS
See how a drive actually went, with a trip score plus speeding, harsh braking, rapid acceleration and sharp cornering. Ideal for a new driver in the family.

BATTERY FRIENDLY
Smart motion detection means the app only uses GPS when you are actually moving, and rests when you are still, so tracking does not drain the battery.

ALSO GREAT FOR A SMALL TEAM
Running a small crew of a few people? The same live map, arrival alerts and trip history work just as well for knowing when the team reached the job site and how the van was driven. Built for a handful of people, not a giant fleet, so there is nothing complicated to set up.

EVERYONE OPTS IN
Location sharing is always opt-in and clearly visible to the person sharing. You choose who is in your circle, and anyone can turn sharing off at any time. We never sell your data.

Continued use of GPS running in the background can decrease battery life. SimpliGPS Go uses background location so the people you choose can see your location while the app is closed or not in use.

### 5/5 — Great for keeping track of the kids

*2026-09-15*

We’ve been using SimpliGPS Go to keep track of our 12-year-old daughter and 16-year-old son, and it has been very useful for our family.

We mainly use it to know when the kids get home, keep an eye on their location when they’re out, and track school bus pickup and drop-off times. The arrival and departure alerts are especially helpful because we don’t have to constantly check the app.

It gives us good peace of mind while still letting the kids go about their normal routines. The app has been easy to use and the location information and alerts have worked well for us.

Definitely useful for parents with school-age kids and teenagers.
