If the date and mileage conflict with previous dates and mileage you have to back out of the entry and erase the entry to check the mileage. It should simply tell you what the last mileage entered was so you can correct it. Or allow you to override the discrepancy and go back to correct it. After two months I have had to abandon using the app as on two occasions the app has stopped autotomatically tracking my journeys. I hadn’t noticed for a few days that it wasn’t working so now i have returned to manual logging of miles. Also Though it was good that I could set that it would not log weekends as I’m generally not working I couldn’t set it to not auto log weekday evenings when I drop my kids places so it was hassle deleting trips manually quite often ### 4/5 — Good app, using since 2018 *2026-05-04, version 50.1.1.1* It’s a very good app to log the maintenance and refueling. Using this app since 2018 for 3 different vehicles. Just one note: every time I log in a partial tank fill up, it shows a mileage of 61 kmpl. The last row of dates doesn’t show. ### 2/5 — Not good *2025-12-30, version 50.1.1.1* I started using paid copies of Simply Auto years ago on Android, and it was pretty good. My two basic needs are to keep my eye on mpg (for vehicle health) and to track business miles (as a self-employed person). Sadly, recent versions of Simply Auto on iOS are really not good at all. The mileage reports are full of errors and wrong math, and it takes some spreadsheet work on the mileage export to prepare needed records for the IRS. The data entry forms and especially any plots/analytics (such as mpg over time) that older Android versions of this app nicely provided are badly buggy or don’t work at all. I may stick with this app for 2026 or find a replacement. The basic challenge is that most competitors offer mpg plus a lot of maintenance-related cruft I don’t need, but not business miles - or business miles plus a lot of expense management cruft I don’t need, but not mpg tracking. Anyway, I am in the market. ### 4/5 — Pretty good *2025-12-28, version 50.1.1.1* I was looking for something like this. You can keep track of your maintenance, fuel, expenses and more. The app is free and the available options are enough for me, but if you want to take full advantage of all features a onetime fee of $9.99 is required. ### 2/5 — Good App,but buggy on IOS *2025-12-25* It is a good App . Pros : All the features are good and use full . Cons : Buggy on IOS- Charts and statistics doesn’t work, Good drive back up issues . Gold is a paid membership , still shows advertisements. However, it is not very intuitive to learn, and on top of that, the free version doesn’t allow you to upload receipts, which is one of the main reasons I got it. At some point in time I noticed that the app was saying I could buy the gold version. I contacted the developer from the “Contact Us” page on his website on 4/16 (it’s 5/7 today) and didn’t hear anything back. I sent another contact today. If the developer responds to me I will update this review. Until this is resolved, be VERY careful. ### 1/5 — Can’t export data *2026-04-30, version 50.1.1.1* I have a platinum account and linked to my gmail. However because the app/service has not updated how they communicate and authenticate with Google and now I cannot do a backup to export data. The report feature also does not work as it reports 0 records found. Support seems to be nonexistent contacted several times. At the point where I am going to have to manually copy all my data out entry by entry. ### 1/5 — Disappointed *2026-04-24, version 50.1.1.1* I have been a faithful customer of SimplyAuto app. I upgraded to the top-of-the-line membership about over a year ago. I’ve been using the app for about 5 years. I have dropped my phone at Dillon Reservoir on a fishing trip, I got a new phone couldn’t download all my information and I went and reached out to SimplyAuto and I’ve never gotten a response and I have reached out to them 5-6 times I use this app for record keeping and reminders of maintenance that are coming due on all my 8 vehicles and ever since I have upgraded to the platinum version I have never ever heard from them very disappointed what a waste of money and all the time of putting in my information for nothing. ### 1/5 — All in one *2026-02-28, version 50.1.1.1* Has every feature I need to keep track of my car expenses and miles.
