Every time I open in I get an insufficient space error and I’ve removed a bunch of magazine downloads (which is a bummer because they are slow to re-download) Overall it’s not a very smooth app but it’s fine and does the job ### 4/5 — App Now Working!! *2022-03-02* After my initial review, and several attempts at trying to get my digital subscription number to work correctly with the app, it is finally working hurrah!! I think there may have been some kind of bug or issue with my new digital subscription number working, as I tried my original subscription number where paper magazines had been delivered to my door and that seemed to work…then it didn’t, then it did! I’ve finally got it to work and I can now see all the Simply Crochet magazines on my iPad and phone, and they have downloaded correctly. I bought the subscription and a past issue and have not been able to look at them at all!!! Don’t waist you money!!!!!! ### 1/5 — * PLEASE BE AWARE • *2019-09-03, version 5.5.0* I just want people to be aware that this app is very misleading, I have just been charged £54.99 for a years subscription, the offer says that you can subscribe for 2 months for 99p so that’s what I thought I would be charged then in 2 months time you would then be charged the £54.99 in which time if you didn’t like the app you could cancel before the 2 months is up. WRONG YOU ARE CHARGED £54.99 STRAIGHT AWAY, which I think is wrong and should state that you are paying for a full subscription. Really angry at how this has been advertised by this company. The iPad app doesn’t function as well as my iPhone app. Issues don’t load and I often have to delete the app and re download it. The only other drawback being a digital subscriber is you miss out on the freebies attached to the hard copy. ### 1/5 — The worst magazine app I’ve ever used. *2019-06-15* I’ve had this app on my tablet for four years - during that time I’ve lost count how many times it’s crashed, failed to download the issue, downloaded the issue then I’ve been unable to open it, every time it updates it send gremlins my way and I know I’m not the only person who experiences this terrible service. I no longer have a subscription because I don’t trust the app, but occasionally I pay for a one off magazine because I live in Australia and the magazine is hard to source through newsagents. Paid for latest issue, downloaded it, guess what? It’s disappeared. So have a number of other issues I’ve bought. After selecting “Complete Your Collection“, from the iPad app, nothing changed. I decided to download the app on my iPhone and everything is there, except the current issue. I’ve done everything the faq stated, but I can only see the new issues on my iPhone, which is horrible when trying to read patterns or articles. Out of curiosity, I selected Complete Your Collection again, and was told I already had everything. Hmmm.
