So far so good I have the very basics (yes no, hello, goodbye, what’s your name) and the quiz part of the app is a great way of learning. The sound quality is good as another app I tried had poor sound I couldn’t grasp now to say the words. Some topics aren’t appropriate for small kids and i can’t see any option to limit the access. Dear ### 3/5 — Good app, some errors *2020-04-19, version 1.0.0* I like the format and the usability of the app. There are just a few errors with translations that are making it difficult for me to learn. For example “Kada nusileis léktuvas” the app translates as “when will the plane arrive” but it actually should translate as “when does the plane land”. There are numerous examples of this. I would prefer more literal translations into English so I can decipher the exact meaning of each word. I will continue to use the app, but I hope you will be able to make some updates and correct this. Currently on Duolingo I’m learning Spanish and this app has done it all. I’ve been really wanting to learn Lithuanian because I want to communicate to my friend more easier. She can speak English but I would love to know all the conversations going on 🤣. This app has helped tremendously! Good for beginners. ### 5/5 — Love it *2025-01-03* My mom is from Kaunas, Lithuania, and we try to travel there when we can. However, I’m still not that good at the language and really only know the Kaunas dialect. This app helped me to learn in spaced repetition, with assessments that quiz me on the language as a whole. You can’t really find free apps for learning the language anymore, so this one made me really happy. It has so many options of phrases and says them clearly. You do have to pay a little for all the phrases but you really don’t have to even when it’s free it’s great. I was very overwhelmed with this ancient Baltic language it seemed too difficult at first but when I found this app it changed everything for me. My 4 year old also leans from this app! Very easy and love that it speaks and pronounces words and phrases. Child and adult friendly! I just upgraded paid 8.99 to unlock all the phrases.
