Not only that, but you never even get to introduce the other hand! The songs are very simplified and there’s no option to play a higher level of those songs. This app has huge potential to be one of the best things on the Apple Vision Pro, but for now it feels like a demo. ### 3/5 — App is completely broken in 2.4 beta. Best app on Vision Pro! When it works *2025-02-28* This app has a lot of promise. The AR keyboard overlay is a bit tricky to get set up correctly. If you can improve that a lot, it would be great. However, sometimes the hand tracking didn’t work and when I press a key, it didn’t register. I usually use the iPad version of the software with my keyboard. I have recently purchased an Apple Vision Pro AVP and was wondering if Simply Piano would consider an immersive version of the software to be used on AVP. To my surprise and excitement, an AVP version was released on December 2024. I rushed through to try it out and was very impressed with the experience. And although only the basic lessons of the piano training has been released so far, the features are stunning; the resolution of the screen, the quality of the sound, the associated environment that fits the music theme, the enhanced learning experience by lighting up the relevant piano keys ( when you miss the right note) and the finale when you 3 star a song. I can see how this version, as it evolves, will open up so many creative possibilities and will definitely enhances and encourage learning the piano skills in a productive and fun way. I’m w8ing? ### 1/5 — Bugged *2025-12-21, version 1.31* Great concept, but you can’t get past the first major milestone when you go to read sheet music, the lesson “ode to joy”, it never recognizes the key presses and instantly shows a continue button. When you click the continue button, it seems like you’ve passed the lesson, but in reality it never lets you advance. However, just as I began to get into the application and start learning piano, the application malfunctioned. It won’t let me move past the “Ode to Joy” lesson though I’ve done it 20 times, and there doesn’t seem to be a way around completing that level properly so that I can move on with the rest of the app. I’m very sad and very disappointed. ### 2/5 — No fun if you can already play *2025-04-05, version 1.2* Really great idea for an app and I hope they continue to improve it, but right now there aren’t even any settings to enter your playing level, or customize the app in any way. You have to start from the very beginning and that’s no fun. For some reason, I cannot get past the ode to Joy. There seems to be a glitch. Every time I try that module nothing happens so I can’t proceed to the next.
