- Simply South Monthly Subscription Plan: The Simply South Monthly Pack (billed as "Simply South Subscription Plans") purchase is valid for 30 days and will be re-billed every 30 days year-round by Apple iTunes until cancelled by the user. The customers subscribed to this pack will be able to watch all Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu Language content during their subscription period. Apple iTunes will send a monthly e-mail well in advance of renewal containing a hyperlink to manage the subscription. Apple iTunes subscriptions can be managed from a mobile device or computer that uses the same Apple ID as the initial purchase. Simply South cannot manage Apple iTunes subscriptions. 

• Payment will be charged to iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase

• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period

• Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period

• Subscriptions may be managed & auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your iTunes Account Settings after purchase.

• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable

• Users registering to Simply South iOS app will enable them to access the content from any of their iOS devices.

I am trying to watch a movie in a legal way and I subscribed by signing with my email. The app is giving incorrect email and password while I am trying to login with Gmail, the guy with IPtv might have finished half the movie by now. Greedy people.

If you’re thinking about subscribing to Simply South, don’t. This service is a mess.

First, they quietly auto-renew your subscription and then hide behind “T&Cs” when you ask for a refund. No reminders, no transparency—just charge first, explain later.

Second, their app isn’t even consistently available across platforms anymore. It’s no longer supported on Samsung Smart TVs, which makes the whole service borderline useless if that’s your primary viewing device. What exactly are you paying for at that point?

Third, the streaming quality is terrible. Constant buffering, random drops in resolution, and frequent interruptions make even basic viewing frustrating. This isn’t a one-off issue—it’s consistent enough to ruin the experience.

Fourth, they openly admit to “technical glitches” affecting billing—and still refuse refunds. That tells you everything you need to know about how they handle customer issues: they’ll acknowledge the problem but won’t take responsibility for fixing it.

Bottom line: unreliable platform, poor device support, constant buffering, and zero accountability on billing issues. 

Avoid.

If there’s less than 1 star, I’d give it. Everybody’s mistakenly subscribing it because it’s inexpensive but we forget that we don’t get any value from it also. 
There’s hardly any movie that’s not in prime, which also cannot be downloaded as it gets stuck in 70% or something.

It complains about device limit, which is incorrect because I logged into only two devices then it gives the message loin using mobile app to manage devices but not letting to login by giving the same message. It should allow to login to mobile app anyway because that’s the place we have access to devices management. Poor app management

This app is super slow and full of bugs. Videos take too long to load and sometimes. It crashes a lot and doesn’t run smoothly. The screen freezes, and sometimes the buttons(watchlist) don’t work. It’s really frustrating to use. Not recommended.
