From a development perspective, this management system has so many design flaws that the developers have lost much of their ability to scale horizontally or further develop the system. I will not comment further on this point here. However, this app no longer even guarantees the most basic user experience. Have you ever experienced the booking panel remaining on an old version, even after confirming that background permissions have been enabled for it on an iPhone? Have you ever encountered situations where, after a guest requests a booking, the booking you created ends up on an unknown date? I strongly recommend that the developers of this app prioritize user experience (for both merchants and their customers) as the core focus of development. Only after retaining your customers (merchants) should you consider “advanced feature expansions.” For example, why not keep Google Tag Manager in the API instead of wasting time turning it into a Custom Feature? Do you think users who can utilize these tools would appreciate such a rudimentary feature? I even believe that the API model is more user-friendly for us, especially if they provide debugging interfaces. ### 2/5 — Bug *2025-07-19, version 2.0.8* L’application est mal optimisé, impossible à ouvrir leurs applications apres chaque mise à toujours. As the service provider, I want to be able to change my schedule of available appointments on the go. I can’t see that this is possible from the app; that would change my whole use of it for the better as it is the one feature that makes me question whether to continue to use the booking system as a whole. ### 1/5 — Bluetooth? *2024-11-18* The app keeps asking me to enable Bluetooth but I have no need to enable it. I’ve reached out to support with no response. ### 4/5 — Calendar is hard to view *2024-08-28, version 1.11.1* App is good but when I view the appointments in the calendar, I have to scroll horizontally and vertically to view for different times and providers. It will be much better, if you create a view option that can fit all in the Mobil screen (responsive screen size fit) without scrolling back and forth Also an option to hide provider name on the calendar if that provider doesn't work on that day. How does it know it’s not valid? If I’ve never put the damn thing in before. It seemed like it was and so I decided to pay for the 1st year. During the free trial I set everything up and had help from customer service. After I paid I sent several emails for help with zero response. There is zero phone customer support. Two week into the service and I ask for a refund or at least a partial refund and nothing. Do yourself a favor and pass this by. I told them if they would even just refund parcel I wouldn’t leave a bad review. Features are limited, but even to increase the features it’s not bank-breaking. It integrates with my website and provides a calendar on the app and contact list so I can text my clients reminders. In their live support I asked Viktoria about the following: - I need to book on a calendar, group bookings under their organizer's name. - When I book anglophone and francophone clients, then notifications and reminders need to be in that client's language. - I need to be able to book from 1 to 10 groups on the same time slot. Meaning Timmy with a party of 4 players could be booked at 10 am. And so could Sandra's group of 2 players be booked at the same time slot. And Gordon's party of 14 players could also be booked at 10 am. I only need to deal with Timmy, Sandra and Gordon... and not with each of the 20 people of their 3 distinct groups. - I only need to view a calendar with all my group bookings on both my tablet (I use as a booking station) and my cellphone to view remotely my bookings when I'm on the road. SimplyBook has answered all my questions within seconds and within an hour or so of tweaking my services and options I finally have my new favourite BOOKING app!
